I agree. Application method can be a game changer. When i started using a stippling brush to apply my cream blush it totally changed the way that blush looks on my skin. That eye look is beautiful.

I tried the KVD concealer. The shade I chose was way too light and I found it just ok. It was too dry for my mature under eye area, very crepey looking.

My eyes water after makeup, too. It's worse when my nasal allergy symptoms are also worse. A search for a brand that is less irritating is probably in order. Anyone out there who has found non-irritating eye makeup products? TIA!

I’ve been using the Tarte foundation all week. For me it works best with a brush and I do a light layer, let it sit for a minute, and then do a second layer. It doesn’t make it heavy, just evens it out and it sets down more. I figured that out because my children interrupt me when I am doing my makeup. 😝 After I set it, it looks really nice. It’s not my holy grail, but I do like it enough to keep it. I use the L’Oréal matte primer (started using it again after I saw one of your videos) in my t-zone and the YSL everywhere else. I returned the Hourglass primer, while it was oil controlling, it highlighted my pores and texture. The L’Oréal primer for me personally works way better and I save myself $50. I have both of the newer Tarte highlighters and they are good! You are not the only one I’ve seen have a bit of an issue with the Fenty lipsticks and case. For $32 I’m sticking to my CT, YSL etc lipsticks.
I need to check out the new Glow Recipe plumping moisturizer!! I got the new Hourglass primer for my birthday and I’m obsessed! It literally blurs my pores away and makes my makeup last all day!! I really like the KVD Apple concealer I wonder if you had a darker shade you would like it more? I purchased the wrong shade as well and hated it so I exchanged it for shade 131 and I really love it but I’ve learned if you use too much it doesn’t look as good. I love that foundation/contour product! I will be checking that out for sure!! Did you say you also like the foundation? Great video Lisa 🥰

I was glad to see your experience with the stands out sponge. I have used that for a long time and love it but I came across a couple of the original beauty blenders and have been using them. You can guess I have been wondering why my foundation hasn’t been great. Guess what I will use tomorrow, lol.

You look beautiful! I don't know Risa; I think the foundation works for you. Give it another chance or two to see how it goes. And I am loving that blush! I am always on the lookout for cream blushes (I find them much more forgiving and easy to apply than powders).
