I absolutely love the "one brand" videos. Most people mix-and-match brands within a full face when they're doing their own makeup, so at least we know which items to just skip! We don't have to fall in love with everything from a line.
First impressions and honest reactions are very helpful so we know what to anticipate. I realize everyone’s skin is different but hearing why you like or dislike a product is very helpful. For example shades. Like you say the websites are not reliable on the descriptions. I do like the full face of one brand reviews.
I love to see you try the product for the first time!!! When things happen like this and you correct it, it teaches us how to correct our issues when we get a product that doesn't "wow" us!!!
I also like seeing your opinion in real time, that's how all of us discover new products. Love all your videos and like how it feels like girlfriend time!

Risa, I actually prefer you testing just like this. Most of us go through this and it helps me to know that these type of things also happen to our favorite beauty you tubers. I don’t think you are being negative at all. I love the way you say “I prefer my foundation to have this kind of finish on my skin”. It doesn’t mean you hate a product but it just doesn’t work for you. I have tried many recommendations from my favorite you tubers that just didn’t work out for me. Always searching for my holy grail products. Please keep trying these products right here in front of us.

I loved this part of the video where you went over the foundation with another product to even it out. I have the bronzer and I like it as it becomes a powder. You are so right about the blush and lips ! It does help to know how to fix a problem that happens when using new makeup so right out of the box works for me as it is really hard to purchase products on line for the right color. Thanks 😊

We all have to shop on the Sephora website and will have shade match issues just as you did. A fail is just as important as a hit. Keep with this approach please.

Mixing the blush and highlights together, then applying is magical. Also helps me from over applying the pigmented blush.
