Bill has always been my favorite driver and now I cheer for Chase. The Elliotts are a class act!
Drivers like Elliott are not extinct. To many guys with lots of sponsorship dollars behind them getting rides they don't deserve
Just go to a Saturday night short track and watch some of the best drivers around.
And not always at the big dollar divisions at these tracks. Some of the best drivers are in the lower divisions. The ones that will never get a ride in some of the elite divisions because they don't have money backing them.
Harry Gant is still alive and kicking!
Bill Elliott came to Australia when The Thunderdome at Calder Park in Melbourne opened.
I love the exterior design of his house in Dawsonville. That brickwork is so cool.
Drivers of Elliott's era aren't extinct but the racing they provided and drew me to Nascar is.
Remember that power steering in Nascar didn't even exist until 1990. So you gotta realize how tough these old guys were back in the day just to drive one of those cars for 500 laps.
Negative. Power steering came into NASCAR in the early 1980’s.
In 2000 I got married and we whent to Dahlonega Georgia and went to the Bill Elliott museum and it was closed then.
It's probably still closed, lol.
Awesome documentary
I'm so amused by the fact that Chase's house is like twice as big and expensive as his father's.
Bill has the better airplanes
