I often like unisex fragrances because they're not overly sweet 😊 I remember the Avon lady always coming over to the house when I was a kid.. I always loved seeing the little catalogues 😁
Hi Tammy Roxanne! Yes people on Fragrantica do say that, it's always so exciting to find that! What's super interesting to me is how so many Avon fragrances actually have the same noses as those used by designer and niche houses. For instance, Dreamlife by Avon was nosed by Calice Becker, who also nosed Dior's J'adore, Tom Ford Black Orchid Oud, and Versace Dylan Blue Femme, 40 for Killian, and many more but those were the most famous fragrances listed. I love finding that the same noses created some of the most expensive fragrances as the most inexpensive ones. I was shocked to find that a very inexpensive fragrance I found by Dana/Loves called So Pretty, was nosed by one the same people who nosed Tom Ford Black Orchid! It's a fun mystery journey!!! Mesmerize is an under appreciated gem, reminds me of Zino layered with Obsession for Men. Mesmerize Ultimate is another great fragrance in the line. I'm a big fan of Avon fragrances and have several that I wear and enjoy.

Just a few months ago I got into Avon and I am learning all the great history etc. What is your favorite Avon fragrance so far? Right now they have a bunch of classics available so I'm trying to collect up all of those classics before they're gone (again) LOL! I have Mesmerize for women… I tracked it down on eBay and was so glad I did. I wore in my 20s and it was a favourite for sure. Would be neat to know what this one smells like.
Hi Bo. I like that term "shared fragrances" because that IS how I'd describe several from my husband's collection! Even if they are not marketed specifically as unisex, there are so many that I have started to enjoy wearing myself. A*men Fantasm, most recently :)
