@@TomsTabletopBunker sorry, I simply have the concept of game balancing drilled in mind, unfortunelly most of designers does not suffer the same "addiction" :D
We played two games with the new cards and they were absolutely a great addition. I am hopeful that this both becomes a standard part of Armada games, and also informs future KoW Magic rules. The push/pull with dispels, etc... was a ton of fun. I will say these and flyers have raised the suggested points for a standard game to 275-300pts as per Seas Aflame, and that recommendation feels right so far.
I love all kind of wargames and I have the feeling that Magic Items normally goes to deform the natural tactic, giving to the battles too much irrealistic aspects. I personally don't like this in wargames.
So we played with magic this week and it doesn't have as massive an impact on the game as we thought it would. Just stitching the report together now so should be up tomorrow c 🙂
@@TomsTabletopBunker I admit in Kings of War rules, Magic Items are normally Little incisive. They helps you in some situations, without deforming strategy or tactic. Best way to use magic Powers.

We used magic in a game and it definitely didn't feel game breaking. It honestly didn't do much at all through it. But it was a nice addition
Totally agree. It's a good addition to the game but doesn't massively change it all
Does each player need this pack or is there enough for 2?
There's one rules page and upgrade page but if you played two different fleets from the first 4 you'll be ok I'd say.
