This is so good. Having to use the app on my phone actually makes me less productive - I usually use my phone during break time and end up going back to studying later than planned. I'll just turn off my phone for the day and use the browser extension instead.
it's took me a year of productivity to realise this was an option. I wish the timer still works when you turn your phone off
watching seven year old videos and the old version of chrome and the websites in their primitive conditions be like nostalgia
Why is it that Forest seems to never mention this AMAZING Chrome extension!?
Because it's not fully featured. It just gives the pomodoro system, but doesn't allow you to see your progression, to plant trees and so on.
I wish they bring plant together option for this extension too!

the only shortcoming of this extension is that it doesnt have Plant together mode
@keepproductive What is the extension used for the page tab with the time on the middle? and when plant on phone the time reflected as well in chrome browser?
When you on you phone while forest on chrome is on, does forest chrome detect it as well. This is assuming you have the account synched
running both desktop and android at the same time, gives duplicate timing, for example i've set 20minutes on desktop and 20 minutes on android and, i got a total on 40 minutes. This issues has to be fixed fast.

Hello, just found this now. Can you put tag in the plant? Because in my phone I use tags to keep track on how long I have been focused on a certain subject and such
can u get different trees when u download the extension but don't login ?
I research a lot using my computer, like serious research study for my thesis on various websites or using publish or perish. How can I use this without disturbing my research findings and telling me to stop and go back? I can't manually whitelist/blacklist the sites, they are various sources and the website are everywhere. Please someone help me
It sounds like you'd need to use Blocklist mode and block sites that are not helpful to your research.
How do i cancel it when i accidentally planted a tree in chrome extension? i cant get it to stop growing.
Go to the blacklisted site and they will give u the warning to go back to your work( if you turned on that option in your account through your phone) along with an option to give up. so u just need to click on the 'give up' option to stop it growing.

you can go to one of the websites on your blocklist. it will give you an option to give up on the tree and continue on the website.
How can I canel the session?
can we plant various trees other than the default tree

In the options do you have a empty field to put the websites do you want. :)
do you know if we can play the background music? in the app you can play some music while the time is on :)
Hey! Thanks for the enquiry. Forest has no music playing capability. If you would like such a thing, view an app called Flipd. It allows for music playing. Hope this helps! If you have any more questions, feel free to drop them below. Happy to help :3
