      @@williamperri3437 Absolute lugs ... problems .... really? Quality fittings all around I would have thought. Kit is made in Taiwan so there's that.

    Like a lot of drum demos the snare (not the tour model which came out later) and cymbals were emphasised most. Missed opportunity.

      @ Bill Perri... Poor guy. Not my experience!! He better call Yamaha.

    • @kennethdillardsr
      @kennethdillardsr 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @ Bill, yes I agree Yamaha makes great sounding and great quality drums. However anything is possible... Could I play my tour custom for the rest of its life? I certainly can... I have no problems with it at all. I alternate between it and my stage custom which I love as well.

    • @kennethdillardsr
      @kennethdillardsr 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@williamperri3437 the stage custom is made of the same wood the high end absolute is made with, so theres not a big difference when it comes to that to me. The stage custom just don't have the high end hardware on it and its wrapped in a cheaper material but I've never had a problem. I love the sound of it, tuned just right with some Evans... cant go wrong. Tour custom... its maple so there is a difference.... it really depends on what you're looking for and the style of music you play. Me, I'm r&b, jazz and gospel both kitsch are very versatile and dependable.

    Awesome playing, but he was more focused on the snare. emphasize the toms and bass drum more.

      I own both kids and they actually sound pretty similar, right out the box though the tour custom sounded better.
