    So many Radars and LiDars. Hopefully supply chain issues get figured out by then.

    I wonder how theyll overcome the sensor fusion issue, that Tesla ran into with radar & computer vision? Its the reason they stopped putting radar on cars and went with vision only. Not saying they cant find a way, just wondering how.

      I was thinking about the same thing. Mobile eye is doing the same sandwich approach and they seem to have slowed down recently. Nvidia is doing the same thing, but at a much larger scale. Even if they solve it before Tesla. How will they bring down the cost? There are chains of independant suppliers for all of these sensor + nvidia cost + oem cost. Tesla is the only one who will have the cheapest solution due to their vertical intergration approach of doing everything in-house.

      @revaddict 2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      @@onesahil Also the cost is not just the hardware to purchase and integrate.. Overtime the biggest cost will be the power draw of all these components..
      That will require a huge amount of power compared to Tesla's vision only approach.. Which means much reduced range from their autonomous EV's..

    When I actively was looking for a job, I talked to many autonomous vehicle startups in the SF Bay Area. None of them were using NVIDIA's specialized equipment for autonomous driving. Also, from talking to NVIDIA employees on TeamBlind, they are mostly occupied with creating flashy demos like this one, nothing’s ever get finished or polished, it's one demo after another for the next Jensen talk.

    So do we also start that:
    One Of The First Few Things You Demonstrate Is Essentially Alexa Assistant And You Titled The Video "...Explains Self Dash Driving Car..." With All Words Starting In Capital Letter !!!!!!!!!!??????
    Given you talk about that firs can we assume it is one of more important things to you ?
    In one part you show car with the literally pole sticking up from the roof of the car I just want to tell you it is going to be really aerodynamic marvel and also best looking car design ever !!!! I hope pole would be even bigger on vans and trucks that would be awesome also and you have to make it bigger or else your lidar wont see someone sneaking from behind or even better put 2 poles on them or three better yet !!!

    What Environment is required to evolve real GAI. You need 24h of power like a car, easy Environment streets „simple“ rules, teachers like the car drivers, and a powerfully processing / network / connected virtual twin to dream all the possibility to try to be a human / car driver. If the cars start to listen and speak trust me we are near the bot will break out to be a car. We have to be careful and act as one world, borders religion historic failures will then not be relevant, only the good minded teacher of the GAI.
