Awesome video - like your videos in general ^-^ Maybe one thing good to bring with you is a gps-tracking-device (like inreach or spot). So if you have an accident and no cell service or your phone is broken you just have a big problem not a really big problem ;-) And the weight of your pack depents how nice you´ve been to your friend ^^ and if you bring a helmet and reserve with you. But would say about 13.5 kg
WOW Aljaz what a great video! Amazing cant wait for my next hike and flight and if its just a 2 min. Flight. I guess your pack was about 11 kg without water and food +1.5 Keep up your passiongreetings from Copenhagen
Thank you so much!! Happy that you like it! Every flight counts right?! Just that we enjoy up there in the sky, when we're up there time stops :) Ha! very very close numbers David :)) New adventures already "coking" haha :)
Dude - nice Video and editing. With normal Harness and light glider (Sky lighter 3, AD Rise 3, helmet, Vario, gloves, ...) with water, cooker, pot, sleeping bag, light mat, poncho as shelter, changing clothes (sweat and cold...), hiking poles i’m around 16-17kg. So your weight must be close to 13. Small hint: Especially if it’s going to be a cold night you should not inflate your mat with your breath as the warm air contains too much humidity which will condense / freeze and shrinks while cooling down.
So instead of using regular harness and trying to put everything in back storage pocket, you go with extra light harness and actually keep your backpack on? That's pretty cool. Although, is it comfortable for longer flights?
Yeah something like that. Depends which harness do you have but sometimes back storages are really to small - in this cases you can remove protecting foam and store there as well :) But if your using light harnesses like in the video this is the best option. For longer flights its again all about backpack and setup you have... if you have to much and to heavy stuff on you back it's not gonna be so comfy - so in this cases (for longer xc paragliding) you better combine bigger harness and storage in back and in protection foam place :) Othervise keep it small, tight and close to you - as seen in video and you will be comfy enough for hour and even more :) Hope that makes sense? haha :D
@@AddictionHappiness thanks for clarifying. I got my pilot license this year and I have always wondered about how to prepare for multi day hike&fly. Thanks for making this video. I am sure it will be a big help for beginners and also help promoting this beautiful sport 😍
@@Paul_T1 Thanks! Thats great, have fun with your adventures, you'll love the amount of fun this multi day adventures can provide :) If anything else just let me know, happy to help! :)
@@udex74 That is so cool! Welcome to the sport! You'll love it :) Happy to meet you. Thanks for support and I am super hyped that you're happy with my content! :)
I really like this video. It explains exactly the things that are interesting in volbiv. At the same time I believe it is misleading. You are walking up, sleeping in a tent, and having just a glide down. For me this is not a real volbiv, it's just camping and gliding down a mountain. Volbiv is done with proper paragliding gear, which makes it possible to cover distances. But that's just how I see it.
@@AddictionHappiness fell like a 🐦 , it's wonderful Adventure film , lot of love , Alps is Wonderful Please come India and fly at Himalaya mountain range
How heavy is this backpack? What do you think? :) Also smash subscribe to support videos like this :)
10 kg
Depending on the wing and if you shared the load: My guess is 14-16kg... With water etc...
15-20 kg
Love your videos! Keep them coming 🪂❤
