As much as I love Florence, shout out to her interviewer Annie Mac! Sometimes it's so easy to talk over someone soft and reserved, but just being a good listener really made this interview for me

She looks so mature now 😍 the girl who wore doll shoes with socks is gone! It is comforting to see how much she has grown. She seems calmer now. HBHBHB was about self-destruction and a way for her to find herself in the midst of chaos. It seems she has found herself and now she is in peace with her feelings.

I just wanted to say (and hopefully someone will read it) that BBC Radio 1 brings the best interviews ever. And it's also so lovely how the entire room makes Florence kind of a part of the environment. And Annie Mac, which is amazing and thoughtful, is able to make Florence so comfy that she opens up that way to people. I really loved it. You did a really, really good job here, guys. Congrats!

That was such a great interview. Florence shared so much and I've experienced in my own way almost everything she said. I feel relieved in a way to know that there are people out there can understand from experience what I'm feeling, that I'm not alone.
"it's in the letting go of control that you find you're more comfortable in yourself" that felt like a message I needed to hear. I just love her so much.
The whole interview is a gift, how florence opens up and the interviewer really listens to her make it so delightful.

I can relate to feeling like you are just an extreme person, and feeling like this is just your "normal" way of living. For a looong time, I thought this is the case with me too after I started to take care of the little things in my life, taking care about having some sort of structure and routine, meditating etc. When for the first time since literally primary school I felt that my life became more moderate, still and normal rather than feeling extreme emotions all the time - I almost became scared of it, because it was so hard to adjust and just accept that not overreacting and not feeling so much is actually not a bad thing.
I wish I could find the peace she has found with her self...or at least the understanding that you're fucking crazy...and a okay!

I have so many things to learn from Florence
interesting - I've lost everything that I've consciously been grateful for - breaking your foot when you consciously appreciate them, sounds like the filthy universe at play - forcing us to be strong and to overcome... and I think that her sister being her polar opposite, damage her self confidence - I have no doubt that her sister constantly told Florence to get it together/get over whatever was upsetting her... Those who are sensitive need to identify this and find 'like', but only stronger, to live their lives with... oh - just found that Florence is Virgo - she simply cares too much about what people think of her - unless those people don't have any value to her - and she's incredibly thoughtful and hard on herself - that's Virgo...
