- Current supplies: My paper is cut into 3.5x3.5 inch squares from 70lb sketch book paper, my pen is a Sakura Micron size 01, my pencil is a student grade Royal HB. My brush pen is by Sakura. If I color I will use either Prismacolor colored pencils or Artists Loft Water color dual tip markers.
A string is used to give a guide as to how to compose a tile. A string can be used as a literal 'border' to define an area or as a suggestion as to where to place a pattern. Sometimes in a finished tile the string can be clearly seen and sometimes it disappears into the work.

I really enjoy your work, you are a fantastic artist and teacher! As a suggestion, your camera angle has changed and it's hard to see your pen tip. It was best when the camera was off to the side somewhat and we could see the pen doing the drawing and not the back of your hand. But still, I'm always excited for your next video and I learn so much, so thank you!
I'm working on that. I've had to cchange locations and that has affected how i can place my tripod. i will fiddle with it some more.

Hi Dawn,I wanted to tell you something that happened to me...I went to my eye Dr had the usual tests went back to pick up my glasses and they were not right...this happened twice more finally they did another exam and my eyes had totally changed from the first test...my Dr sent me to an eye specialist and it turns out I had a weird kind of cataract thing going on...it is repairable and I am having it fixed next month. Don't know if this is helpful but just felt I should pass it on.Thank you for all your time helping us to be better in our tangling and better to each other.

I am glad you had that caught early and it is fixable! The eye dr did an exam each time my glasses were not corret. He did not say that anything had changed with my eyes.... I'm thinking wither an error in the lab or in his office. they still write out all the charts by hand and it is possible somebody mis-read a number. i finally got mine back and they are fine
I loved this one. Very nice! I so enjoy watching your videos! Thanks so much. I also wanted to tell you about Zennioptical.com. I got my last glasses there and it was only $50 and I got the Progressive (No-Line Multi-Focal) with the anti glare coating. That is without insurance coverage too. I really like them and they aren't cheaply made. You go to your eye doctor and get your prescription on a paper and then enter it into the website, choose your frames (you can download a pic of you to see how they look on you as well) and order. Just a thought. PS I also tangle while listening to my pastor preach . I thought I was the only one that did that till I heard you talking about it. Have an awesome day!
Thanks for the tip for the glasses, but they would have been wrong with them too. the eye Dr had to adjust the prescription TWICE before they came back right. I have gone to him for years but no longer trust him. He was very dismissive and would not listen to my concerns. So next year it will be a new doctor for me
