Nutnfancy Finally Buys a Corvette?!

- A perfect wife is one who comes with you to buy your Vette. In this feature length presentation, Mrs Nutnfancy and I go on a car buying adventure in McKinney, TX. It was a long road trip to get down there but we are focused on a hard to find 2017 Chev Corvette Grand Sport with a 3LT package. But will we actually buy it, an event teased in TNP for several years, will the financing actually work out? We set the stage with some family stories and you will be shocked at the other car, instead of the Grand Sport, I was considering buying. Then we head out to the dealer (below) and find a perfect lightly used GS waiting for us. I'll take you on a short test drive and then let you see if we close the deal on this American Supercar. Mrs Nutnfancy is my good companion and wife of 30 years in this TNP car adventure....enjoy!

Because of youtube's anti-gun policies regarding making money and he recently lost Allie. Seems pretty straight forward. There was a large period of time that he was only doing sporadic uploads....
Of course Veri! I know who you are. Nutn's Philosophy videos shaped much of my viewpoint on the world when I was a young man and led to me spending several years in EMS. I feel I owe him alot and so I religiously watch his every upload. I hope your Family continues to Prosper and that you are all happy and healthy.

Can't go wrong with a vette! I love my C5. Eventually will get upgraded to a C6 Z06, I think that's the best performance per dollar car you can buy.

There are a lot of low mileage Corvettes because many Corvette owners want the latest version of the Vettes available. The C7 was a huge improvement over the C6 and many Vette owners couldn't wait for the release of the latest Gen Corvette.

Nuttn, last year I pulled the trigger on an early build 18 arctic white / adrenaline red A8 1 LT grand sport. It was an homage to my late father. I can’t tell you how much I like the thing. You won’t be disappointed with it.
If you plan on boosting the grand sport eventually might as well pay the extra for the Z. The z06 is forged from the factory and can hold more power. Cheapest grand sports around me are 57-58k and a less than 9k mile z06 is 62-63k...seems worth the extra to me. But i'm glad to see more car vids on the channel!
Taylor self bro bro they're good for 850hp all day reliability, the ZO6's are good for 1000hp. He made a good choice just needs a wrap and some new wheels.
themrjones I know what they are good for but why not spend the 5-6k more for 200 more hp if you’re not buying new the gap isn’t much...You can’t procharge the grand sport for 5 grand. Just my thoughts! I’m sure the grand sport is enough for a lot of people including nutn!
Taylor self totally true and your rite, just probably have to factor in new clutch on the used one in the price. But he wants brand new obviously because used is definitely the way to go. Personally I would of bought a used Escalade with a blown engine and dropped in a $40,000, 1200hp twin turbo Texas speed whatever, getting 11.4 MPG.

I have a second part time job at Cabela's in Allen. If that gives to any clue. In winter I carry a g17 in a bladetech holster, a sog flash 1 (because of nutn), and a streamlight stylus pro. First aid kit in car, complete with minnie fire extinguisher.

When I was looking for a pickup Nissan Titans were the lowest rated pickups out there. Least reliable, hadn't been updated at the time, etc. Seemed only Nissan fans or the unknowing would purchase. I ended up with an F-150.

Yeah what a bummer. Not like its a dual clutch automated manual either, I get why someone would potentially choose that for a performance car, sort of. Truth be told I am a manual guy through and through, there is no other option for a performance oriented drivers car IMO. I want to be involved in the process of driving, a real mechanical involvement which only comes with manual transmission.

Bubbad02 You do know that cats range from $0-30M, right. So that's on the lower end of the scale. Plus, the difference of financing a $20k car vs a $40k car vs a $60k isn't very much. So if you're paying $450/month for a $20k car, spending $550/month on a $40k car isn't that much more money... It's only $100/month more. The AVERAGE price a person spends on a new car is $30k, $500/month, so $40k isn't a whole lot more. $40k is not a lot of money for a car. Just because most people can't afford, or would have a hard time affording, a $40k car, doesn't mean it's a lot of money for a car... There is no correlation. People get the ability to "purchase" a car confused with the ability to AFFORD a car. If you make $25k/year and have $5k in savings, you might be able to purchase a $40k car, but you can not afford a $40k car; neither of which have any bearing on whether or not it's an expensive car.
