The first argument makes sense but the other two are weak. The Beldam didn’t let Coraline go after she won. Actually, technically she didn’t even win, since she said her parents would be behind the door and they weren’t (even if she was just tricking the Beldam, as far as the Beldam is concerned, she was wrong and therefore lost). And then the Beldam tried to catch her. And the children, when they said she wasn’t safe, they mentioned that the Beldam would the find the key. Now if she was still in the world, why would that be the main reason for Coraline to be in danger. Like you said, they are on Coraline side so why wouldn’t they just say upfront that she is still in the Beldams world. Why did they care to mention the key specifically of all things. Also, I think the mom’s nose looks not straight again in the last scene. And about the cat, if she were still in the other world, I don’t see why the cat wouldn’t warn her, since he still seemed to be on her side even though he was mad for being thrown at the Beldam. As for the teleporting part, I’m not sure. I heard that the well (where Coraline throws the key) was another gate to the other world. So if there can be more than one opening, idk maybe somehow that sign is also connected to it in some way. But an argument you can make against this theory is that the Beldam was desperate when Coraline tried to escape, so I don’t see why she’d go back to playing this fake world thing. Also, this is just a personal theory of mine, but I think she requires the strength of those she’s eaten to use her strength, which would be why things began to crumble as Coraline retrieved the eyes. So based on this, the Beldam wouldn’t have the strength to make another illusion world or whatever.
I've heard this theory before and while I think it's interesting and cool to think about I don't think it's true. Especially because at the end of the movie Coraline goes all the way out to the well to throw the key and the hand in- but in the other world there is no well. When Coraline tries to walk away from the house you can see the world doesn't extend out far enough to the well. I also like the theory that the well is actually a portal into the other world and that when Coraline threw the key and hand into the well she was actually giving it back to the other mother.
The real reason why I believe that this is true is how the parents are seriously acting too good that it's suspicious to happen in a matter of a short time. I mean they didn't even know that they got kidnapped and caged, why the sudden change?
They finished their book and it was accepted by their client. Adults under stress behave much differently when the stressful situation becomes resolved. By the end of the movie their financial worries were eased and they didn’t have to devote all their energy to finishing a project it makes perfect sense for their mood to have drastically improved.
I think as soon as she entered the hole it was already over, we know the other mother is capable of rendering memories and everything coraline sees just because it showed the world crumbling to white doesn’t mean that’s all she knows, maybe she wanted Coroline to think that we just won’t ever know.
Can I explain something really quick Okay so basicly she can't stay overnight or sleep in the other world inless the other morther or the beldam sews the buttons onto her eyes so she woke up in the real world because she didn't sew the buttons in her eyes or atlest that's how I think of it. But there's another theroy: The cat knew. The cat must have known about the other mother or beldam because when Coraline told Wybe about the other world the cat looked shocked then Emedintly after he looked at the doll... But it's not like the cats a witch or anything...
I can see where you're coming from, I found it confusing on all levels but now that you've explained those tiny little details it finally made more sense. it's like American McGee's Alice story but with a more dark and twisted ending to it
So if she’s stuck there, why isn’t no one trying to sew🧵buttons in her eyes? And why is the cat not trying to help her get out if she’s still trapped? Is the other mother waiting for something? Those are the major holes in this theory that I see.
The three points are week mate. The cat states he can only talk in the other world but goes as he wishes. Basically, he can move between worlds at will. This end shot just shows him doing his thing. Also why wouldn't he warn Coraline she's still in the other world? He could just talk to her if it was the case. Second point falls appart immediately as she didn't find her parents therefore didn't win. Beldam definitely didn't let her go after that, there's literally a fighting scene over this. And third point about the nose, you say the thing, then follow with a shot in the garden where we can see the bended nose.
Okay now to attest your theory, the ghostly children did mention that "they were still unhappy and kept wanting more, so they chose to have their eyes sown and then their life was unexpectedly eaten afterwards", only then were they unable to leave - that never happened to Coraline. This movie was meant to teach kids something rather than having such a dark ending, and even if that was the case which I highly doubt, there should of been a clearer indication. Her parents weren't that miserable, they were clearly overwhelmed with work and moving, but they still cared a lot about Caroline which was shown in many scenes, so after all that was over, I fully expect them to be loving parents (especially after Caroline herself became more affectionate towards them and learned to truly appreciate what she had). And of course one last thing, the BUTTONED EYES, which was the obvious indication separating the two worlds, were clearly not visible in any of the final scenes, therefore, I must suspend your theory as "I don't think so".
Coraline locked the ‘first door’ (Other World) after kicking Other Mother’s face before crawling back to reality. Only The severed hand made it back also, but was smashed by Wybie before they threw it and the key into the well, never to be seen again
The first argument makes sense but the other two are weak.

I had to do some reaching a bit yk
All she need to do is to get some distance from the house, Beldam can't simulate so far, only the house and its near proximity. Then she will know.
that's acc true

Those are some good points for sure but we don't fully know that depths of her power.
Huh

I've searched about it, and it says, in fact, she never left at all.
damn is that what google said?
Ok the only thing that makes me think that the last theory is fake, HER FAMILY AINT HAVE BUTTONS AS EYES-
What if that was all part of the plan and she didn’t need buttons
Plus beldam can turn to her mother with eyes
Fun fact: they made the entire movie out of clay and stop motion 😮😮😮
I know its crazy. They were really dedicated to their craft
I think as soon as she entered the hole it was already over, we know the other mother is capable of rendering memories and everything coraline sees just because it showed the world crumbling to white doesn’t mean that’s all she knows, maybe she wanted Coroline to think that we just won’t ever know.
I agree we never even technically saw her leave the portal first time around
Good Point
I try

How did I miss thissssss!?😮😮😮😮😮😮

Lool I just realized I messed up
She didn’t leave, because none of them have buttons
She could have just tricked them tho

It definitely was both ur not wrong
1:11 he literally never said that

@@cosmic5833why are you pressed 😭 it's a mistake
@@ArtsYagi cause people barely know stuff about the movie but make videos about it just for views
no hate directed towards the creator, but its the sad truth about most coraline videos

I saw the cat in the movie jack are the movies connected can you please make it a video 😊
Is the name of the movie Jack? And yh sure
Slay new sub
Real mom said she didn’t like dirt and the other mother said she liked dirt but in the ending Coraline’s real mom said she’s really did like dirt
Didn’t even notice that but that for sure pushed my theory even more
I knew it, my theory was correct that cat can teleport to the other world so it means Coraline part 2 is going to prove the theory
Hopefully we get a part 2 that would be awesome
On the cake where it said “Welcome Home” on the home bit there are two ‘O’ meaning she is welcome but it is not her home.
Wow I didn't even notice that
