No one has made me laugh like Chris Tucker in the Rush Hour Movies. Rush Hour 2, in particular, is such a comfort film for me that I watch it multiple times every year.
Rush Hour 2 is easily one of my Top 5 movies of all time. It's 10000% a comfort film for me. I had it nonstop playing in the background and it made me laugh no matter how many times I watched it.
Rush Hour was my childhood comfort movie. No matter how many times i've seen it, it always brings the laugh. Thank you Chris and Jackie for making our childhood better.
@dr.Revenue you are joking right? Rush Hour is wonderful but isn't even close to being the original Buddy Cop movie lol. The genre was mainly created by Beverly Hills Cop in the 80's, and became a firmly established franchise in the early 90's due to the Lethal Weapon movies. Rush Hour was just taking on a proven formula, and did so in a unique and fun way--but it sure isn't the original buddy cop movie that started them all lol
It's incredible that Chris Tucker has only done a handful of movies and each performance has been so iconic! I grew up on Friday, Money Talks, Fifth Element, that was my childhood. He has more iconic roles than actors who have done 10x as many movies
I'm glad they went with Chris Tucker for Ruby Rhod, he brought that character to life in a way no one else could have - not even Prince! He absolutely brought his own energy into that character! Brilliant!
I personally feel that even with the amazing visual effects and highly fascinating sci-fi epics we get today- nothing will be able to touch the great nostalgia, visual splendor and great script writing, production that is The Fifth Element. Avatar is a bit overrated, but the first one (having been released in 2009) I thought was also a bit ahead of its time. Shortly after, we got Tron Legacy as well. That was super awesome to see in theaters!

We had a great comeback season of 90s actors with Brendan Fraser and Ke Huy Quan. I hope Chris has a come back. Let’s bring back some of our 90s men and women
One of the humblest actors, no clothes logo on him, he's decent compared to the rest. Much respect for you Chris Tucker, u've made my childhood in Rush Hour movies !
Such a hughly underrated performer, Ruby Rhod is a true Iconic performance of complete genius. Tucker spends at least half of the time here telling us how great the people he's worked with are, rather then just taking the credit, shows how rare a person he is, on and off screen.
Fifth element absolutely needed Chris it was the unhinged beginning middle and end of the movie. His character being self centered and completely superficial at first look but ended up being a big part in the ending to save humanity. We are all human and we all have that part of us capable of being a hero 😊
I love this man's range of voice tones. And each tone of voice fits that character perfectly. Alot of actors do an ancient, which changes their voice completely and doesn't sound like them as person. He still sounds like himself, but the Tone and dialect are different, which brings the character to life. Very talented.
I honestly don't care if he never does another sequel to Friday or Rush Hour. I'm just glad to see him back in movies period. He's one of the greatest and he's been missed.
I needed this today. This interview filled a hole that I did not know was missing. I am so glad to see Chris back on screen. I was 3 in ‘98 and I absolutely loved Rush Hour. For MJ to be in a many of Chris’s generations childhood memories, Chris is the same for my generation.
Chris Tucker was the perfect casting for the Rush Hour movies, his mannerisms and chemistry with Jackie Chan worked so well that I can't really imagine anyone else as Carter.
this man has the biggest piece of my heart, Chris Tucker is just different. His personality, his comedy his energy is so contagious. I know every word to Friday and pretty much every word to Rush Hour 3. My comfort movies for life!
Love that bit about Chris Tucker giving praise to Charlie Sheen for insisting that Chris be first on the bill for Money Talks. Everyone knows the drama and memes of Charlie Sheen but that humanizes these "larger than life" characters we see on our TV's. Cool story. Those bits of behind of the scenes are my favorite part of these iconic character breakdowns.
The 5th element was Chris Tucker’s masterpiece in my opinion. He was absolutely on level with Bruce Willis in that movie.. it wouldn’t have been the same without Chris.. bravo, artiste! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I introduced my kids to Rush Hour years ago, and now they are 14 and 17 and they always watch it. Whenever they can't find anything to watch, they'll pick a Rush Hour movie, in order, backwards, etc. They love you Chris!
Chris tucker is my childhood legend. He made me laugh and forget about what was going on around me. He played in so many movies and was his authentic self. After watch this it made me even miss how he has been on the big screen. Happy he got a role in AIR. Hopefully people appreciate him as a movie actor because there were only a few to do what he has done
Definitely made my childhood as a 90s baby. My dad showed me Rush Hour and brought me to the theater to see Rush Hour 2 as a kid and I swear I remember it like it was yesterday. Im 27 today. There will NEVER be another Chris Tucker.
Out of all these, his role as Ruby in the 5th element I loved the most. Mainly because it was so out of pocket for a guy like him, but he fit it like a glove. Overall have no hate for anything Chris has done. Total talent and underrated comedian.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, for me Tucker and Chan as two main leading male costars in the Rush Hour trilogy will always be the best of them all. So many happy memories I have of watching them again and again and they never disappoint.
He was a part of a lot of our childhoods.. never realized how many good roles he had. It's a shame he went on hiatus for so long, felt like he was going places, and disappeared. Glad he's back.
I think because he became Christian. The industry was going in a direction I don't think Chris wanted to be apart of. Thats my theory anyways. I'll openly admit I definitely can be wrong.
Same… I don’t think about Chris very much but looking back he really made some of my favorite movies as a kid he’s probably my favorite actor and I never even realized till right now 😮
Just my own personal theory but i think the whole Michael Jackson "case" and his death was the last straw for Chris.. Chris was not only a huge fan of MJ but they were actually very close and he even testified in MJs defense during the court hearing.
@THUGLXVE454 ok that's interesting. Looking back at it now, that case was phony as I'm sure we all have speculated the kids were coerced by their parents to say MJ molested them. I can understand Chris being fed up if this is the case.
He is one of the most positive people ever . Like ever i mean when you see him he puts a smile on your face , effortlessly like a child . Those people are very rare and go on about the world like a child enjyong himself in the park . Never change Chris , never you are a global treasure ❤ .
Man I miss Chris Tucker so much!! I can't say I've seen a good comedy in a while. I wish so badly he'd come back & star in a new comedy film cuz I know he'd make it incredible!

I had the VHS tapes for Fifth Element and Rush Hour and I've watched them so much during my high school years that I'm surprised they still play at all. One thing i love about Rush Hour is their Chemistry. They we're like meant to be the duo, even their bloopers like they have a total blast together.
Me too.
We had a great comeback season of 90s actors with Brendan Fraser and Ke Huy Quan. I hope Chris has a come back. Let’s bring back some of our 90s men and women
going to epsten islan was a comeback fr
Next year Cameron Diaz she is coming back with a new movie with Jamie Foxx and also Christopher Walken in Dune part 2
Just wait for the Air Jordan movie. He nailed his role in that. The energy he brings
I hope not, Chris Tucker likes to take flights with Bill Clinton and Kevin Spacey to Jeffery Epstein's Pedo Island
Rush Hour 4 is confirmed
One of the humblest actors, no clothes logo on him, he's decent compared to the rest. Much respect for you Chris Tucker, u've made my childhood in Rush Hour movies !
Nice dude. Good dude. Mentioned all of his co stars, gave people credit/compliments. Class act.
... almost like a creep trying to come off respectful
@@TheUnholyPosole Thats such a weird thing to project on someone for absolutely no reason
Chris Tucker is one of the most funniest and genuine actors period. Loved him in every rush hour movie too 😂
I feel like for a while Chris tucker has been off the radar, but I’m so glad to be seeing more and more of him lately
Chris Tucker is a living legend himself. Money Talks is one of my favorite movies, I know all
his parts! 😩😂 I love to see him getting his flowers! 🥰🤩💐
Such a hughly underrated performer, Ruby Rhod is a true Iconic performance of complete genius. Tucker spends at least half of the time here telling us how great the people he's worked with are, rather then just taking the credit, shows how rare a person he is, on and off screen.
I've seen 5th element so many times and it's still and always will be gold. His character in the movie is absolutely spot on crazy funny.
Hi pretty lady how are you doing ♥️
I honestly don't care if he never does another sequel to Friday or Rush Hour. I'm just glad to see him back in movies period. He's one of the greatest and he's been missed.
Is he back to doing acting?
@@Danzin_Danzibar this is promotion for a movie called "Air" that he's in.
It's about Nike saving their company by sponsoring Michael Jordan.
Yeah he spent too much time on Epstein Island. Glad to see him back to acting....
@@improbablyyourdad8458 is this the first film he made his return to acting?
@@Danzin_Danzibar his last two movies were put out in 2016 and 2012.
I needed this today. This interview filled a hole that I did not know was missing. I am so glad to see Chris back on screen. I was 3 in ‘98 and I absolutely loved Rush Hour. For MJ to be in a many of Chris’s generations childhood memories, Chris is the same for my generation.
It was dope seeing MJ and Chris was so close.
I feel you. Chris seems like a genuine soul, good vibes.
I love chris trucker he so funny
I loved him in Dead Presidents….I mean every role he’s done has been phenomenal but I loved that he was able to show his range
Chris Tucker was the perfect casting for the Rush Hour movies, his mannerisms and chemistry with Jackie Chan worked so well that I can't really imagine anyone else as Carter.
Ruby Rhod was and still is a staple of comedic acting. The Fifth Element will always remain a cinematic gem.
this man has the biggest piece of my heart, Chris Tucker is just different. His personality, his comedy his energy is so contagious. I know every word to Friday and pretty much every word to Rush Hour 3. My comfort movies for life!
Samee
I can read out the movie script in Friday 😅
Dead Presidents is a brilliant film - an important film.
And Chris is amazing in it.
Great actor.
Dead Presidents is such an underrated masterpiece. Says more about contemporary America than most want to admit.
Its such a shame we didn't get to see more of him in his prime. Such a talented guy. He steals every scene he's in.
He could still be in his prime! Man is intelligent and a great actor. Hope to get more of the wisened version of him
did you really have to use the world steal?
He was friends with epstein. That epstein. Look it up.
Steal is a good word, he definitely commanded his screen time when he had it.
I think he gave us quality over quantity. Everything he did was great!
Money Talks is never going to be the first movie you think of but it’s so criminally underrated
Big Facts, loved that movie
I always keep seeing in the comments about how people think that money talks is underrated can you please explain to me why?.
@@hanakokun7777because Friday is his most popular film besides rush hour series
I feel like Chris’s career should’ve definitely been bigger but he’s very essential to us!! Love every movie he’s in 😌🔥😊
he didn't want it. He left fame
@@2sallads no, he refused to do anymore films that were not in line with his beliefs and he also stopped using curse words.
@@aribrahim1898
Did he find Jesus?
@@aribrahim1898 Prior to that he was sick of the limelight.
Do you see Chris he looks great self care took a stepback or else he would've been overworked and stressed
The 5th element was Chris Tucker’s masterpiece in my opinion. He was absolutely on level with Bruce Willis in that movie.. it wouldn’t have been the same without Chris.. bravo, artiste! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
plus the way he played off Willis very dry energy was a really good counterbalance
He played so out of the usual character that it was amazing to see. Especially now after Bruce’s diagnosis
It's absolutely amazing how humble he is, especially when you consider how much of an absolute legend he is.
Glad this man is still alive and healthy.🖤
Chris is an absolute gem, man... wish he'd come back for another Rush Hour
It's happening.
Chris tucker was also traveling with Epstein all these years! Still on top!
We need him to take out the Friday series with a bang.
He is 😎
@@ZONES89RS Too many people have passed for that now. Pretty sure they tried a few years ago and Chris didn't wanna do it.
He was a part of a lot of our childhoods.. never realized how many good roles he had. It's a shame he went on hiatus for so long, felt like he was going places, and disappeared. Glad he's back.
i feel you bruh i looked in to it & he gave his life to god
Crazy how many legends he worked with who are no longer with us... R.I.P
Man I miss Chris Tucker so much!! I can't say I've seen a good comedy in a while. I wish so badly he'd come back & star in a new comedy film cuz I know he'd make it incredible!
Isn't Rush Hour 4 in the works?
chris tucker was so incredible to me on screen. he played EVERY character so differently, but was so perfect in each role.. hard to explain but my goodness what an actor! money talks and fifth element were my faves. obviously loved friday but hated how the studio did em..
It show that the entertainment industry is a joke.Everyone point fingers at Ice cube, But the production team was on some bs,Ice cube was ready to make the movie
Chris has hit that age where he's mellowed out a bit and is doing some really interesting character stuff. I love it
Someone please write a film project for Chris Tucker as the lead. It’s time for his comeback.
Movie of his life will be his come back story.
Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker....on Epstein's island. Rush Hour 7, the Cabal.
I had the VHS tapes for Fifth Element and Rush Hour and I've watched them so much during my high school years that I'm surprised they still play at all.
Had a rough childhood and those movies always put me back in a better place, there were periods where I'd watch them every week. He was a perfect fit for those roles.
It's amazing how down-to-earth he is, compared to his characters.
Bro, that was himself 😂😂
he was playing himself in every film..he's just more mature now lol
Chris Tucker is one of the few people that I want to see more of in any capacity whether its movies or stand-up. One of the all time greats!
What a legend, so humble and appreciative in this interview! Came to a realisation that he worked with so many people that are now not with us today, RIP to all 🙏🌟
Chris aged beautifully like his acting ❤️
