Rush Hour was my childhood comfort movie. No matter how many times i've seen it, it always brings the laugh. Thank you Chris and Jackie for making our childhood better.
same here, I love Chris and Jackie's Chemistry, both of them make me laugh all the time
The OG buddy cop film that set the tone for many to come. Such a brilliantly written movie!
Same
@dr.Revenue you are joking right? Rush Hour is wonderful but isn't even close to being the original Buddy Cop movie lol. The genre was mainly created by Beverly Hills Cop in the 80's, and became a firmly established franchise in the early 90's due to the Lethal Weapon movies. Rush Hour was just taking on a proven formula, and did so in a unique and fun way--but it sure isn't the original buddy cop movie that started them all lol
SAME
No one has made me laugh like Chris Tucker in the Rush Hour Movies. Rush Hour 2, in particular, is such a comfort film for me that I watch it multiple times every year.
His Netflix stand-up is also something I was at least twice a year hahahaha he is simply too good.
Me too I can recite both one and two word for word how many times I’ve watched it. My girlfriend hates the movie cause I put it on so much 💀
Rush Hour 2 is just golden! I love everything about it!
Rush Hour 2 is easily one of my Top 5 movies of all time. It's 10000% a comfort film for me. I had it nonstop playing in the background and it made me laugh no matter how many times I watched it.
Yeah, I like Chris Tucker's personality.
I'm glad they went with Chris Tucker for Ruby Rhod, he brought that character to life in a way no one else could have - not even Prince! He absolutely brought his own energy into that character! Brilliant!
Chris Tucker making a comeback is so well timed. Joining Brendan Fraser, Ke Huy Quan, and so many other legends.
Still waiting for Jackie Chan

It's incredible that Chris Tucker has only done a handful of movies and each performance has been so iconic! I grew up on Friday, Money Talks, Fifth Element, that was my childhood. He has more iconic roles than actors who have done 10x as many movies
Facts 💯
Quality over Quantity
We’ll handful is not. He has over 10 movies
I couldn’t agree more 💯
@@diegocasas8511 13 movies in a 30 year career. What do you call that, 1.5 handfuls?
Chris Tucker is such a memorable actor, and I love the way he talks so gratefully and respectfully about his costars. Really a humble likeable guy.
he skipped talking about bruce willis 🤣
he also went to e*sien island
@@NorthWestPvPlolrektnoob thank you. He is one of them for sure

Agreed!
Ruby Rhod was a big step out of a lot of actors comfort zones, but I'm super glad he did that role, because fifth element is still one of my favorite sci-fi flicks to this day. Really animated, really off the wall, and incredibly memorable. Rush hours were a stellar set of movies, love the friday series, Tucker rocks in anything you drop him in!
I’m glad he talked about 5th element. The minute his character is introduced in the movie, he was part of the main plot and he was so fun and lovable.
He stole the movie imo
@@Red_Rebel suprisingly everybody stole that movie, every character was memorable. But yeah wouldn’t be 5th element without ruby.
My favorite movie 🎬❤ on this plant 🎉
now i’m trying to imagine what it would’ve been like if prince actually did it, can’t imagine it not being chris tucker
That movie is a classic. Chris was memorable crazy, but also Bruce, Milla and Garry.
Fifth Element was way ahead of its time - incredible acting, writing and production with a great cast.
I personally feel that even with the amazing visual effects and highly fascinating sci-fi epics we get today- nothing will be able to touch the great nostalgia, visual splendor and great script writing, production that is The Fifth Element. Two other great science fiction films, in my opinion are Valerian and the City of A Thousand Planets and also Avatar. Avatar is a bit overrated, but the first one (having been released in 2009) I thought was also a bit ahead of its time. Shortly after, we got Tron Legacy as well. That was super awesome to see in theaters!
@@blkspiderstryker the second Tron.

He wasn’t scared of going to jail, he wanted to see all of his friends! 😅
Tucker a total legend. Sad that almost all the guys he speaks of have passed.
Its such a shame we didn't get to see more of him in his prime. Such a talented guy. He steals every scene he's in.
He could still be in his prime! Man is intelligent and a great actor. Hope to get more of the wisened version of him
did you really have to use the world steal?
He was friends with epstein. That epstein. Look it up.
Steal is a good word, he definitely commanded his screen time when he had it.
I think he gave us quality over quantity. Everything he did was great!
It's a shame we don't see him in movie projects anymore. Such a talent!

A lot of his roles were underrated like Ruby Rhod in Fifth Element. He should have won an oscar.

I know some people think Ruby Rhod is too much, but that whole movie is so far over-the-top that the role needed that energy as to not get lost in the FX, action set pieces, and bizarre fashion. I loved what Tucker did.
Chris tucker ages like a fine wine
Chris Tucker is a core memory of our childhood along with all the greats
The mans up there with santa claus
Ruby Rod is frankly one of a kind. You literally can't have that character again without Chris Tucker.
I don't think anybody could have done that role. He literally created and gave Life to that character !
He's the OG non binary
Money Talks is my favorite all time. Its as if he was ad-libbing. Just natural. Though Ruby Rhod is an absolute gem. I cant see anyone else hitting that role. Chris played it flawlessly.
Prince defenitly wouldn't have been a better choice for the part,Tucker was gigantic in that role.
Right, I can't imagine prince doing it. I see the inspiration but chris' energy made that character.
I watched Fifth Element more than 1000 times with my whole family, one of my favorite movies forever. And r hour with Jackie too. Chris Tucker was always beloved actor who warmed our hearts through this films. I wish him every happiness and hope to see him more
More than a thousand times? Youve watched it 3-4 times a month since its release without break?
By far Ruby Rhod is one of the most iconic and unforgettable characters in movie history. The Fifth Element has it all, comedy, drama, action and suspension!
So glad we're giving this man his flowers... the dedication he has to his craft is unmatched. He deserves all the recognition!!!

Fifth element absolutely needed Chris it was the unhinged beginning middle and end of the movie. His character being self centered and completely superficial at first look but ended up being a big part in the ending to save humanity. We are all human and we all have that part of us capable of being a hero 😊
Chris Tucker is seriously underappreciated. Even his standup was great 🥰

Chris Tucker's acting is so iconic. Truly one of a kind.
Nice to see one of the most liked actors onscreen is equally as charismatic, humble and genuine off screen. Would like to see Chris in more stuff today.
I think he owned the character in Fifth Element and I wish more casting directors took a risk on him. He could really give the energy back in the day. Even as a voice actor, he could've been something.
Stg if I watch an anime and I hear Chris tuckers voice I'll have a heart attack😂😂😂
Living here in Atlanta we run into celebs all the time. Ran into Chris playing golf at Stone Mountain while I was doing an event there. We told him he didn't have to take pictures but the man insisted and shook everyone's hands, despite the amount of people that were at the event. VERY stand up and kind man, he seemed excited to talk to us (even though I could tell it was somewhat exhausting). Good guy, made me like him even more!
Awesome guy❤.🎉
I'm in Atlanta too I'd love to meet him.
That takes a lot of stamina to do, I tried my hand at taking pictures. That is tiring, and I give compliments to him.

It's nice to know that someone so likable in his film roles is also quite likable in real life as well. Thanks for sharing that story, Earl.
The 5th Element is what put him on the world wide map.
Rush Hour brought Chris to the masses, but I’ll always remember him for his role of Smokey in Friday and as Ruby Rhod in The Fifth Element - his charisma was obvious fairly early on…
