Welcome to the Philippines! Manila is the capital city, but it and Quezon city are just part of what is called "Metro Manila" which is made up of over a dozen smaller "cities" (which were actually towns taken from adjacent provinces, but now host the metro's huge urban sprawl). enjoy your stay! stick to bottled water when eating in "carinderias" or the outdoor restos ;)
I recommend that you check out BGC, Mall Of Asia in Pasay and then El Nido is a must go to out of the city. Check out the mountain province too
There’s a thousand ways of adobo. It start from vinegar onion garlic soy sauce black pepper and a spoon or less of brown sugar. Anything more than that is another version depending on what region you are.
Go to Cebu Moalboal and do some canyoneering at the Kawasan falls.It was the most fun thing I did in my trip plus it's very beautiful.I just came back from a month traveling around The Philippines.Plus I found the people of Cebu to be one of the most friendly of the places I've visited

Cool you had a good time in the NCR but jump on a Partas Bus and head to San Fernando, La Union. 10 minutes from the beach called San Juan. Great hang and you can have a surf lesson from my Bro's on Urbiztondo Beach. Ask for Nano.

If you are into food you should go to Vietnam. The food there and especially in Hanoi is fantastic! Without a doubt the best asian food i have ever tasted.

Yup you know how to eat that adobo! Pour that sabaw (sauce of the adobo) on your rice. Masarap (yummy)! Good choices with Laing, chicken adobo and sinigang. You should go2 Mang Inasal. I recommend the bbq chicken. It’s very cheap and masarap. It comes with rice and sinigang.
We don’t cook adobo with veggies. Only garlic, onions n dried bay leaves.

You should stay in Makati or BGC, it's not that stressful.
The reason why soccer is not popular in the Philippines is because of the weather. It's too hot to stay outside for a long time and Filipinos would prefer to stay indoor. Playing for 2 hours and not getting any score is also not appealing for Filipinos.

Filipino food isnt "love it or hate it" Filipino and Philippines' stuff just has alot of haters.
When exporting is talked about it’s never in regards to people like nurses going to western countries or South Americans coming to the states to work on farms. It’s about products. The #1 export of the Philippines is “Electronic Products” which makes up 42% of all of their exports. Filipino food sucks btw. Best thing is the lumpia.
For the record, I didn’t say it was the number 1 export. I said they’re the number 1 exporter of nurses overseas. Lastly, I know exports are goods and services. The comment was made tongue-in-cheek (jokingly).
