Yes he’s a fun GOO for sure! Really tough not being able to get his “human” form off the board. Skills/cards that let you push enemies are really clutch when facing Nyarly.

January giveaway. Hastur is my favorite as I love the lore around it the most and the stories surrounding that one. Freaking *hate* the Yellow Sign tokens though lol 😆
January giveaway! Thats a great tip! I usually 2 hand solo. That makes it a touch easier to even potentially 3 hand solo. I will give this a shot! So far, my favorite Elder God is Hastur but I haven't really given any of the fear of the unknown Elder Gods a fair shake yet.
I really like Nyarly. He has a fun amount of fire to every episode he’s in. Plus his “human form” before he is summoned is a real pain in the ass. So it really makes it much more dynamic with him as the EO

January giveaway! Pretty cool of you to let the community win those cool dashboards :) I'm also using a similar method when playing Zombicide. But often I forget to increase the dice value at some point in the game when playing a character. Then after finishing the action it's even more confusing since I don't remember how many actions I did 😅 But overall it's helping a lot! My favorite Elder God is Nyarlathotep. It was really a very pleasant surprise to see how different it felt from all other Gods. It's adding fire to any scenario, a threat right from the start with its human form and I found that he was also moving a lot on the board. Usually the game feels slightly more static so I really enjoyed my games with him! I still have to play with the Goat (which I have) and Dragon (that I don't have) but they look very hard to play against.
I have definitely had that happen to me when using the Dice. The other downside is I’ve accidentally knocked the dice off the player board. Lol but it definitely saves me more times than it screws me up by far. I agree, I like Nyarly for all the reasons you mentioned. I do like the notion of fire but that first episode in that first season was way too much! It does feel more dynamic with the earlier version of him that just keeps moving around the board. Having an artifact or skill that can move a monster away from you is definitely clutch in that situation. I’ve played with the goat and that guy is brutal! Dagon can also be tough but not as tough as the goat.

Awesome tips! I have to use this method even if I'm only controlling a couple of characters in a multiplayer game of Zombicide. My memory is only getting worse!
I have a version of marvel Zombiecide that is sitting on my shelf of shame. I really need to get that down and play it. I love to paint miniatures and I hate playing with bare plastic but I should probably just bite the bullet because in reality I probably don’t have time to paint those guys
January giveaway! My favorite Elder One is Dagon, and that’s only because it’s so goofy and fun to try and not turn into fish people, I don’t care if it’s not “balanced” hahah. Thanks for the chance! And these are some great ideas for multihanding
Yeah I love Dagon. Honestly that is a great Lovecraft story. It’s really short but I can’t tell you why but it’s really unnerving to me. And I totally agree, the mechanic of turning in a fish people is cheesy and fun!
January Giveaway. My favorite Elder God so far is Nyralathotep. I like the transformation from Stage 1 to the other awesome "miniature" and I hate fire, so it's more like a hate/love thing 😅
january give away ! it's funny because your video made me realize that I'd been playing wrong for years, as I chose each time which investigator to play, instead of following a fixed order. anyway, I love battling Cthulhu himself,!
While the rules state clockcwise if you wanted to go in any order, there is a hack for that too…use two sided tokens or coins for each investigator… Put one next to each character sheet then as you move from one character to the next flip the token/coin over to indicate which character’s have taken their turn for the round.

@@TalesFromTheMythos I didn't know that was an option. I also looked in setting and couldn't find were I would check that. Lol didn't realize I was so TH-cam illiterate.
@garrengray1926 I’m right there with you. I’m only at a 3rd grade level myself. Since I’m now producing content it’s forcing me to learn things I never knew.
Great tip. Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome! I hope this makes your solo multi-character experience even better!
January giveaway.
I love Nyarlathotep, just the different stages, the massive mini, the massive amount of fire,...
Yes he’s a fun GOO for sure! Really tough not being able to get his “human” form off the board. Skills/cards that let you push enemies are really clutch when facing Nyarly.
The comics 2 extras has an alternate stage 1 human form of Nyarlathotep. Different stage 1 card, too.
@@TalesFromTheMythos indeed, it's more strategic than the other GOO

I agree! Those are the worst!
When I play solo, I like to run 3 investigators. A melee person, a ranged person, and a magic person. Trying to cover all the bases.
That’s a great configuration for three investigators! I usually play for. I try and include a healer like Peters or somebody.
@@TalesFromTheMythos that's a great idea. I may try that when I'm done painting my pledge

January Giveaway. My favorite Elder God is the Black Goat of the woods. Really makes the episodes tougher I think.
Yeah that guy is tough! Thanks for watching and thanks for the support!
January Giveaway. Cthulhu is the favorite, no reason besides being the most interesting one.
Classic cosmic horror. 👌

Hastur has been my favorite so far but just got the second KS so looking forward to getting into those
The king and yellow has a special place in my heart. That place has a knife on it with the yellow sign engraved in the handle. Lol
