Thanks for the January Giveaway! My favorite new thing in Fear of the Unknown is definitely the relics. They make you feel so powerful and balance really well with the unknown monsters.
Ps: Thanks for watching and entering the giveaway. The winner will be picked tomorrow. You may have already but just in case don’t forget to subscribe as well to qualify.
Thank you! That is an excellent suggestion. I wish I would’ve thought of it. I was trying to provide as much context for the set up as possible but I missed showing what each investigator had. I’m working on part two so I’ll put a lead in for that Video that shows what insanity/Ali each has.
I haven’t played him yet. I will definitely check him out. With so many I love hearing other people’s opinions helps me decide what to paint / play next.

January Giveaway. The thing I am most excited for with FotU (still waiting on my pledge 💀) are the new Relics. I think they will add so much to the gameplay variety and the uniqueness of each character. So pumped!
Yeah the addition of the relics, the unknown monsters and the animal allies really give you the opportunity to play the same episodes and have it be like a totally different experience. And of course the EOs really change it up too.
I cannot wait to try the new Elder Ones. Playing the same episodes again with the new ones will feel like a brand new game lol. And thank you for the opportunity for the overlays, they look awesome! Great January Giveaway ;)
Thanks again for the January Giveaway :) I haven't played with the Goat of the Black Wood yet but shouldn't the Dark Youngs multiply themselves when they're hurt by the Mythos card? I heard that this Elder God is really hard and I think that's part of it. They get out of control quickly 😅 Also Titus dealing damage as a special action on its first stage. Then it's a free action when it reaches its second stage :) I haven't played with the animals yet but the best thing for me from FotU is definitely the relics! And the new Elder Gods but the relics felt like a real novelty for the game and can make it easier if you don't want to add unknown monsters. Sometime an easier game is nice ^^
Hey good catches! I doubt I have ever played any boardgame where I played the rules perfectly. 😆 But I usually get better the more I play and especially when people pointed out. Hard to see my own Blindspots sometime.
@TalesFromTheMythos that's why I love coop games. Less pressure on getting things right and "cheating". Sure, I'm a bit disappointed if I discover after the game than I/we misplayed but there are no argument of who should have win and we try to play properly the next time :)
I hear you. I am feel way less bad when it’s just me. Ps: Thanks for watching and entering the giveaway. The winner will be picked tomorrow. You may have already but just in case don’t forget to subscribe as well to qualify.
@@TalesFromTheMythos I agree, its one of the things I like about theme, you can adjust the difficulty and you can put monsters in that are'nt in the episode.
The Jan winners have been picked and received their stuffs :) We will be having a pretty sweet Giveaway in Feb which is around the bend, so stay tuned.
Thanks for the January Giveaway!

I agree! The relics definitely feel powerful and add a lot of fun new options. I especially love these animal ally relics. They are really fun.

January Giveaway. Great play through. One thing I would have liked is knowing what animal ally and what insanity each investigator had from the start.

January giveaway! Really enjoying the characters from the stretch goals box right now - some, like Robert, are ridiculously powerful!

Honestly it really does. It really feels like a totally different game with every different EO. Thanks for watching!

January Giveaway!
Just got my pledge 2 days ago, so no opinion yet haha
Oh man you’re in for some good times!
In the first turn, the mutated animal should have spawned in the same space as the Colour, not the well, but probably not a big deal
Good catch! Honestly I don’t know why I did that. 😆
You don't need to use unknown monsters and relics together. If you just use unknown monsters, its harder. If you just use relics, its easier.
OK cool. I wasn’t sure. I do like that between those two things you can throttle the difficulty of the game pretty easily.
