Stop apologizing for "long" videos! These things are golden and even 20 minutes would fly by! Keep 'em coming! I really enjoy the tangents you guys go on. What ends up happening is we get introduced to new whiskeys that we might not have ever heard of
@@WhiskeyVault if you like the Port cask, you'll love the other fortified wines the Portuguese do. There was a Benriach 22 aged in Portuguese Moscatel casks that was not too shabby...
The “blueberry pop tarts” comment resolved a tasting issue I’ve had with Angel’s Envy for ages!! That is EXACTLY the mystery note I’ve been trying to figure out. Thanks, Daniel!
For your information, this is a 40 dollar bottle in Georgia. And worth every penny. As a newcomer to whiskey and bourbon, this is my favorite so far! Thanks guys!
Thanks for reviewing my request guys! I should have specified that the one I mooched off my Grandfather was an Angel's Envy Rye whiskey, so you might love that if you like the angels envy so much... Also, now that you have the Blantons single barrel, go to the nearest convenience store and buy a vanilla coke and mix the coke and blantons, its my favorite drink. Keep up the good work!
I saw this video 4 years ago when it came out and always wanted to get a bottle of it but never did, I did however get it at bars and always enjoyed it, I finally got a bottle and wanted to drink it while watching this episode, hashtag best TH-cam channel ever!!
got a bottle today and tryed for the first time. still new to the world of whiskey. this was defiantly a good change of pace from your standard bourbons which to me can start tasting the same(to me). angels is very smooth and rich in its unique flavors.
after watching this video I decided to pick up a bottle, paid $48.00 for it. I was shocked it was much less then the $80-$100 you mentioned which was great for me. Thanks for the video
I received this bottle as a gift, it’s not one I have ever looked into trying because I generally like what I like and buy what I know I like. Wow an I happy with this bourbon. At first all I could smell was the the port it’s not a fragrance I am accustomed to so it was really pronounced, but as I continued to pour from the bottle I started getting a plethora of notes fruit, nuttiness and I am even getting a malt type note. Very smooth, very tasty and it just opens up in the finish so many flavors playing together that it seems like every dip leaves me tasting something else. To my shame I have been using this bottle as an everyday drinker and I just learned that it certainly not in my everyday drinker budget. So I will be corking the remainder up for special occasions. Love the channel guys it has inspired me to take my love of whisky and go out and try new bottles.
I love the history you provide for the whiskeys but i also love how Rex just sits there visibly anticipating drinking it and eventually just yells at you to pour it hahaha! also im adding this to my list. why oh why did i subscribe to you guys...
i would like to say ive been watching your videos for a few hours and im hooked . also while watching ive been going from one BURBON to the next starting with weller then eagle rare followed by angels envy ( which by the way is $40 a bottle here in mid missouri) and finally one of my personal favorites blantons which took me two months to find my most recent bottle of love what you all are doing love burbon above all love whiskey
I get a lot of sweetness with banana pudding as well as berry cream, vanilla, and baking spices on Angels Envy. I never realized that Lincoln Henderson worked for the Brown Forman distillery... now it makes sense why I get s little bit of banana pudding on AE. As always, love the videos. I’m watching this video for probably the 5th time over the past 2 years. Love the mashups in this video!
Just bought my first bottle of angels envy! Oh man is that nice!! I tried the cask strength my buddy got from a friend and that's the best whiskey I have ever had. I thought Angels Envy was over rated because I'm not into popular stuff usually. Well dang. This stuff is so good!
I got this for $48.99. I also smell nail polish remover. I wonder if I got something different than what I thought I was buying. It definitely says “finished in port wine barrels.”
Making me happy, I just walked out of the store with this angels envy. Still working on my pallet and trying to gather a few to compare and see what differences I can pick out. Going from old fashions now to trying different whiskeys neat. I Haven’t found rye as enjoyable either, but have only tried a couple.
this is my wife's go to bourbon. actually this is the ONLY bourbon she will drink on a regular basis. i poured bowman's port cask finished, thomas moore port cask finish, Davies County cab finished bourbon, Legent (sherry cask finish), and Rabbit Hole (sherry casked finished) to see if she could pick it out and sure enough she did. i gotta admit AE is my favorite finished bourbon as well.
If you ever go to Louisville and go on a few tours, make sure you go on the Angel's Envy tour. The tour itself is good, and the tasting/private bar area at the end is great! A tip of the hat to the friendly, tall, deep voiced ginger man who gave the tour, he was great.
I just bought a bottle of this today because I went into the store and was between this and laphroaig 10 and this was cheaper. I don't get blueberries but some dried fruit that is reminding me of being in WV. My best bourbon buy yet I think.
I just had a moment of ultimate clarity and by that I mean I am sitting here at 11:30 at night waiting for people on diablo 3 watching old episodes and have both tea and bulleit burbon sitting here and thought "Hmm I wonder if they would be good together." The answer btw was yes
I think they may have over-nerfed the proc potential of 6 set inarius. But I am definitely enjoying playing it this season instead of my normal barb, probably entirely for the fact that I managed to get stupid lucky and have full gear for command skeleton inarius before I got the charity set.
4th of July story time (Rex you will be proud). So my sister brings home this guy she is dating and as the older brother it's my job to basically give him shit the entire night, right? Right. So about halfway through the night I guess he was feeling a desperate need for my approval and knew that I enjoyed my whiskys so he offered me a bottle that he had at his place that he did not enjoy. A bottle of what you may ask? Laphroaig PX Cask. Gave it to me. The whole bottle. For free. Basically full. Now mine. God bless America and that nervous child.
So you got to bust balls and score a Laphroaig PX Cask? Nice. Next time, if you add in a hobbit joke it'll be a Moochy Trifecta - and your spirit eagle will be summoned.
Relative new sub for me so I'm going back over some of what I missed. Your advice around 14:30 is how I drink my whisk(e)y, but I think it drives bartenders nuts. They keep "checking" on me while I'm sipping. Mind you, this will generally be in some place that also serves food, where I've had a cocktail, wine with my meal, dessert, and then ending with a nice single malt Scotch, and sitting at the bar mainly because I'm by myself and don't want to take up a table. So it's not as if I haven't been spending some money there. I don't mind conversation, but there's no need to keep interrupting my drink when you can just look and see that I'm not finished and I haven't even hinted I need anything. I do love me my Islays. I mostly haven't moved into bourbon or rye yet, even though you guys are inspiring me. But an Islay... that first whiff from the glass, and I literally get goosebumps all over. I have to spend like 5 minutes just enjoying the nose before I have a taste. There isn't a lot in life I enjoy as much as that anymore. I am therefore somewhat disappointed in myself over a bottle of Glenmorangie 10 I bought to bring to a party. They only drank about half of it, so I took the rest home. It's... OK. I used to enjoy it a bit more if memory serves, but it just feels kind of flat now. (I'm a Ross on my mother's side, so I *should* enjoy it, but...)
Was mainly an Irish Whiskey and Scotch drinker. You guys convinced me to expand to bourbons as well. Angels Envy and Elijah so far but not disappointed
aw man thank you so much for making this video. it impulsed me to pick up this bottle and its like im smelling in 3D. carmel fruity pie filling the oak isnt on 10 like im used to with scotch. just so much vanilla/pie filling/carmel/woody deliciousness. angels envy ftmfw
I’ve had two bottles of this and the first bottle had a significantly stronger wine taste and i loved it. The wine in the second bottle was hardly noticeable.
Angel's Envy bourbon is great... BUT.... have you tried their rye? Aged in rum casks. So unique. So complex. If you haven't tried it, you should. And review it, already.
Man, Daniel. I was drinking this last night and I got the biggest bubblegum note on the nose that I've ever experienced in a whiskey before. I've had Angel's Envy before too but never got it. You said in a review you got a Big League Chew note and that's exactly what I'm getting. It's like I stuck my nose in one of those bags. It was crazy! Do you remember what whiskey that was? I wanna try to compare the two now.
I still remember the taste of Craigellachie 14YO in old bottling from 2006. The best whisky I ever had and my holy grail. I am looking forward to tasting the 13 YO.
Hey, Daniel and Rex. I am mostly a bourbon drinker but want to branch out and try more scotches. My brother let me try some of his Ardbeg Corryveckan and it was a little too advanced for me. I am sure you have answered this question a lot but where should I start? Also, I would love for you guys to drink more of the whiskeys for High West. I would recommend the campfire.
I think start with a decent Highland. Glenfiddich or Glenlivet. Dalmore. Highland Park. Maybe Talisker or Oban 14. Deanston 12. So many good things. It's a lovely journey.
If it helps I just started delving into the depths of scotch as well. After watching the video on Dalmore 12 I had to get it. You won't be disappointed. A great scotch with a great story
Really enjoy this bottle. Got it as a part of my Flaviar subscription. I am such a fan of this bottle. Highly recommend. I get an apple, bannana, vanialla on the nose. A bit of spice and tangerin on the pallete. On Flaviar this bottle is only $50
I only pour about a half to three-quarters of an ounce at a time and I just thought it took me two or three refills to get any kind of meaningful tasting notes because I'm still new to this. Nice to know I'm not crazy by having to sit with it for a while.
Today, after years of searching here in Europe, I finally managed to get a bottle. It coming in the mail in de days and I’m making a special occasion of tasting this.
Oh, and can you add Sheildaig 18 to the list? Tried it recently and was really impressed. Quite a bang for the buck. Don't think I've seen another 18yo single malt for that price.
So a funny thing happened. I have a friend who is just starting to try whiskey. I was thinking I would give him a treat so I poured six ounces of my precious “Angels Envy” into a flask and told him to enjoy. I gave him some instruction on starting with a small pour and really spend some time looking for tasting notes. I imagined him sitting back, sipping, and singing my praises about being such a great guy for sharing with him. Later that evening to my dismay he sends a picture of all six ounces in crushed ice in a glass you would drink ice tea in. I was like “holy crap what a waste” then I remembered the rules about “what you drink and how you drink it”. 😂😂😂 never thought I had a whiskey snob bone in my body but who knows?😎
Chattanooga whiskey 1816 if you can get your hands on it. It is a whiskey made in my hometown. First distillery in Hamilton county Tennessee in 100 years. I really like it for several reasons especially the historical aspect of it.
If you can find it, you should try Lot No. 40, a wonderful Canadian Rye whiskey. I have seen in at least in California, so I know it's distributed in some US markets. Never tried Russell's Reserve Rye 6, but am familiar with Bulleit Rye, and I think Lot No. 40 compares quite favourably.
Priceless hearing Rex tell a Dad joke. I think for every episode that Rex either makes a Hobbit joke/comment or forgets to get a new outro he must do one Dad joke.
I bought a bottle of angel envy because of this video but after tasting it I was quite disappointed,it seemed to light & nothing special about it but i tried it again few days later and I really liked it the 2nd time
+1 as someone who loves the tangents. You guys should throw a list up of all the blends you've tried and liked ( or not liked.) Those are a little harder to find in the vids.
Howdy from Austin! I love the videos and format. I've "discovered" several good whiskeys watching y'all's videos. I was curious if either of y'all had had a chance to try any of the Garrison Brother's line of bourbon. It's made not too far west of us in Hye TX. WOW! Most definitely one of the most interesting bourbons I've ever had. I'd be more than willing to bring a bottle down to share. Two satellites decided to get married. The wedding wasn’t much but the reception was incredible! Cheers!
RECEPTION WAS INCREDIBLE. Love that one :-) Yes, Garrison is damn good. A little more pricey than it is good, but still good. Definitely bring some down :-)
Have a glass of neat Angel’s Envy and also have a glass with a rye whiskey mixed with coca-cola over ice. Now… Sip the Angel’s Envy, coat the mouth, swallow and then immediately take a sip of the rye and coke… BOOM!!!! Instant explosion of Blueberry, blueberry pop tarts, blueberries and cream…. 10/10
I've been watching your videos for a few months now, they are amazing! I've watched this episode a while back and I am going to be in Louisville in November. This obviously means I am doing a tour of the Angle's Envy distillery while I am there; it would be a crime not to. What are some things I should "know" before going into it to be informed enough to ask "good" questions?
Whiskey Vault thank you guys. Keep making great episodes on both this channel and the Whiskey Biscuits channel. And I'm on the cookie side of the debate fyi.
There really should be a directory online where you can post your empty bottle number (for those limited releases) so that people buying a bottle on the secondary market could check if it was an emptied bottle.
Might be possible, especially using something like the Ethereum Blockchain, I think some people are already working to do that with Wine (new bottles) and Artwork.
Curious how their Rye finished in Rum casks compares to this. Any idea why the crazy price difference between the two ($50 for the bourbon, $80 for the Rye in VA)?
Daniel and Rex, Have either of you seen advertisements for this Kamiki Whisky? It is a Japanese whisky being touted as being the first in the world to be finished in Japanese cedar casks!! To either of your knowledge has cedar ever been used otherwise to age/finish a whisky?
Hello you magnificent bastards. I was wondering if you could make a comparison video of angels envy and basil hayden's dark rye due to to the fact that one of them is finished in port casks and the other is finished with port. Could you please review the differences of these whiskeys since they have a similar type of finish
$80-$100 in Austin? In LA it’s $40 Angel’s Envy. And Dalmore 12 is $80 here and you told me it’s $40 in Austin. Weird. . . I thought everything would be cheaper there. I wish we had your gas prices. Drove last year to Austin and filled up at $1.67 a gallon. Same time was $3.50 and now it’s $3.90 in LA.
After rewatching this episode. How was Angel's Envy Rye not tasted when looking for a rye Rex would like? I went to my local package store, and while talking to the guy there. He mentioned liking the rye better than the original Angel's Envy. Unfortunately they were out of stock. You must taste this for me. So I know which I should spend my money on. Immediately! Or atleast before I make my next trip to the store.
You mentioned you finished Russell's Reserve Rye 6 before it goes bad. In that type of storage you have in the vault or just in a dinning room cabinet. How long does it take an open bottle to go bad or start to change flavor?
If you drink a bottle in less than 3 months, you have nothing to worry about. A mostly full bottle will will last you years. half full at least a year. less than 1/4 and you have a few months before the evaporation becomes a problem.
So in this episode you mention "finishing a bottle before it goes bad" and "air-to-liquid ratio." I recall you indicating something similar with moving your decanted whisk(e)y to a smaller vessel once you cross the halfway point. Can we get some info, perhaps a Daniel lesson, on the theory behind that? Good for someone like me who is very unwilling to finish a bottle for fear of never affording a replacement
Yeah, once a bottle gets under 1/4, you have 6-8 months to finish it. Maybe less. Or, you can move it into a smaller container with no air and keep it indefinitely. The key is the least amount of air in the bottle and a perfect seal.
Aw man! So the Macallan 18 I've been bogarting for a year is totally screwed. That sucks but good to know. Live and learn [insert bottle down ceremony here].
I'm drinking my angels envy right now. I just got a new flavor I never got before. It's reminding me of those old fashioned donuts. With cinnamon sugar on it. Like the old fashioned unsymmetrical yeasty donuts.
How much do you have to enjoy wine, to enjoy something like Angel's Envy or Scotch finished in wine barrels? I have barely any experience with wine, but what I have had has been pretty bad.
Like whiskey, there is a tremendous amount of variation in wines - and I'd be surprised if there isn't a wine out there that you'd love. But it sounds like you've had some bad first impressions, which sucks. Regarding whiskey, you don't have to like wine to enjoy a whiskey finished in a wine barrel. The whiskey is veerryy different from the wine - it just picks up some nuances and accent flavors that give a subtle hint at the wine that was in the barrel.
There's such a wide range of effects depending on many factors. Left too long a wine barrel can absolutely destroy a whisky and many times you wouldn't even guess that the whisky had been in a wine barrel if you weren't told. As always investigate before you buy. The answer box will tell you.
You've done it, I've been turned into an avid viewer and I'm plagued with whisk(e)y cravings every day. Thank you for that. A request: I'm all for Islay whisky (Lagavulin, Caol Ila, Laphroaig, Ardbeg my favs ever), and I get along really well with bourbon. But when it comes to Speyside and Highlands whisky I fell at a loss. Any tip on how to best enjoy it? (honestly, I often find them a bit boring). Oh! and keep the dad jokes coming, few things as entertaining as Rex's facial expressions at them.
The Speysides are almost all boring for me too. But there are really awesome Highland whisky. Best bet is to try different ones until you stumble onto distilleries you like!
There's a Whisky maker near me called Hewn Spirits. I really like their rye, called "Red Barn." It's a Pennsylvania based company, I'm a New Jersey resident. How would I send you guys a bottle? I only ask because I don't want to mess up delivery and it's not an awful rye. Always, you guys make great videos.
We'd be honored to try it! Our address is here: whiskymarketing.org/about/contact-us/ technically it's not legal to mail alcohol, but we've managed to get bottles when UPS sends it.
What something aged in Port Barrels? Try The Quinta Ruban 12 Years Old. My Canadian friends like Angel's Envy 'cause it's smooth like Crown Royal and smells like maple syrup. Which makes it great of your holiday eggnog.
Stop apologizing for "long" videos! These things are golden and even 20 minutes would fly by! Keep 'em coming! I really enjoy the tangents you guys go on. What ends up happening is we get introduced to new whiskeys that we might not have ever heard of

This became my top drink tonight. After the 4 scotch and numerous bourbons this is now my go to. After my first sip I smiled lol.
I had the same reaction! I loved it on the first sip. Difficult to get hold off in the UK it sells out.

Holy shit yall pay 80 to 100 for a bottle of angels?? It's only 45 here that's crazy.
No, that was my verbal flub. I was thinking of the rye which is significantly more expensive.
It's $115.00 in New Zealand :( I love New Zealand but Whiskey is so expensive down here...
$80? Under $40 at total wine. Looking forward to trying it tonight.
Dan Chase depends so much on the taxes, Angel's Envy is 60 in Colorado, the rye is 80.

aw man thank you so much for making this video. it impulsed me to pick up this bottle and its like im smelling in 3D. carmel fruity pie filling the oak isnt on 10 like im used to with scotch. just so much vanilla/pie filling/carmel/woody deliciousness. angels envy ftmfw
Enjoying Angel's Envy Port Barrel now along with some 1776 Rye mixed with Buffalo Trace. Really enjoy your videos.....cheers!!
Came here to see what was your opinion on this. I got a bottle at Costco for 20 bucks today. Very smooth with burnt lips at the end. 👌
I still remember the taste of Craigellachie 14YO in old bottling from 2006. The best whisky I ever had and my holy grail. I am looking forward to tasting the 13 YO.
Would love a dedicated video on Bulleit Rye. Keep up the exemplary work superfriends!
On Flaviar this bottle is only $50
Gonna have a glass of Angels Envy now
I only pour about a half to three-quarters of an ounce at a time and I just thought it took me two or three refills to get any kind of meaningful tasting notes because I'm still new to this. Nice to know I'm not crazy by having to sit with it for a while.
Love Angel's Envy! I am going to the distillery for a tour in Louisville in two weeks. Can't wait.
That is awesome. Enjoy!
Well it happened, I'm all caught up...worst day of my life. Now I have to wait day to day for my Rex fix...and that other guy.
We're working as fast as we can!
Work faster, Other Guy!
He's working as fast as his wee little arms and legs will allow.
I would suggest you're not *Actually* caught up until you've tried them all yourself, not just watched Daniel and Rex try them all.
And thats how wideone23 caused hundreds of people to file for bankruptcy with a single youtube comment. 😀
It's $50 at my Kroger. It's only 1 per customer and is always sold out. You have to be there early in the morning to get one
Today, after years of searching here in Europe, I finally managed to get a bottle. It coming in the mail in de days and I’m making a special occasion of tasting this.
How was it ?
@@volcommerce I bought two more bottles :). If you’re into sherried whisky, you’ll love this.
Oh, and can you add Sheildaig 18 to the list? Tried it recently and was really impressed. Quite a bang for the buck. Don't think I've seen another 18yo single malt for that price.
Yes!

One of my go-to's as far as whiskey.
I just picked up a bottle on a whim at Fred Meyer it was on sale for $55. What a steal!
would like to know what you think of George Dickel Rye?
If you can find it, you should try Lot No. 40, a wonderful Canadian Rye whiskey. I have seen in at least in California, so I know it's distributed in some US markets. Never tried Russell's Reserve Rye 6, but am familiar with Bulleit Rye, and I think Lot No. 40 compares quite favourably.
Trying to get some!
Daniel looks a little like James Yeager's young brother ...lol🥃
Jhae Mrll. 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭
Priceless hearing Rex tell a Dad joke. I think for every episode that Rex either makes a Hobbit joke/comment or forgets to get a new outro he must do one Dad joke.
YES. penance. I'm in.
Yeah, I'm working on a spreadsheet (nerd alert) that lists every one we've reviewed and other whisky featured in the videos.
Love that one :-)
Yes, Garrison is damn good. A little more pricey than it is good, but still good. Definitely bring some down :-)
Just got to try this when I moved to Louisville, KY! Blueberry poptarts is super accurate! Good, but accurate!
Wow. Thank you for the amazing review, I mean suggestion. Got myself a bottle and it's GREAT!
Indeed! One of my favorite bourbons.
Yes! Glad you dig it.
Have a glass of neat Angel’s Envy and also have a glass with a rye whiskey mixed with coca-cola over ice.
Now…
Sip the Angel’s Envy, coat the mouth, swallow and then
immediately take a sip of the rye and coke…
BOOM!!!!
Honestly, just stay curious. You'll stumble onto great questions by just watching and observing the process. Enjoy the trip!
YES. That is a great idea. You should create that. If it was intuitive and searchable you would make a killing off the advertising on the site alone.
Might be possible, especially using something like the Ethereum Blockchain, I think some people are already working to do that with Wine (new bottles) and Artwork.
Hmmm I smell profit
Curious how their Rye finished in Rum casks compares to this. Any idea why the crazy price difference between the two ($50 for the bourbon, $80 for the Rye in VA)?
Price is rarity in almost every case. That would be my guess. We'll try out the Rye as well!
Daniel and Rex,
Have either of you seen advertisements for this Kamiki Whisky? It is a Japanese whisky being touted as being the first in the world to be finished in Japanese cedar casks!! To either of your knowledge has cedar ever been used otherwise to age/finish a whisky?
I'll see if we can track that down!
Hello you magnificent bastards.
I was wondering if you could make a comparison video of angels envy and basil hayden's dark rye due to to the fact that one of them is finished in port casks and the other is finished with port. Could you please review the differences of these whiskeys since they have a similar type of finish
Got lucky and found a bottle of Angel Bourbon for $45
I got mine to day for 41.00
$80-$100 in Austin? In LA it’s $40 Angel’s Envy. And Dalmore 12 is $80 here and you told me it’s $40 in Austin. Weird. . . I thought everything would be cheaper there. I wish we had your gas prices. Drove last year to Austin and filled up at $1.67 a gallon. Same time was $3.50 and now it’s $3.90 in LA.
Yeah, this was 100% my mistake. I was actually thinking of the Rye, not the bourbon when I quoted that price.
I find when poured on the rocks it opens different flavors.. I’m no pro but I just love it that way even if it’s frowned upon
I was saving it for Rex. He didn't know they made a rye, and I was trying to limit the mooch action. Shhhhh. don't tell him.
Whiskey Vault awesome! Thanks for the detailed reply
Live and learn [insert bottle down ceremony here].
it's still drinkable just won't be what it once was
bought mine yesterday for 45 bucks. awesome
You guys will need to try the Angel's Envy finished in the Rum cask next, good but not quite as nice as the port finished to me.
The rye? Yeah, it's on the list too.
i have one simple question: what would be the best budget whisk(e)y and what mid or top shelf would it be closest to?
My favorite is Black Bottle. Close to an Island style like talisker, but smoother and more simple.
I'm drinking my angels envy right now. I just got a new flavor I never got before. It's reminding me of those old fashioned donuts. With cinnamon sugar on it. Like the old fashioned unsymmetrical yeasty donuts.
Just left my local store and it’s 56.00 per bottle in Birmingham Alabama in 2019
How much do you have to enjoy wine, to enjoy something like Angel's Envy or Scotch finished in wine barrels? I have barely any experience with wine, but what I have had has been pretty bad.
Like whiskey, there is a tremendous amount of variation in wines - and I'd be surprised if there isn't a wine out there that you'd love. But it sounds like you've had some bad first impressions, which sucks. Regarding whiskey, you don't have to like wine to enjoy a whiskey finished in a wine barrel. The whiskey is veerryy different from the wine - it just picks up some nuances and accent flavors that give a subtle hint at the wine that was in the barrel.
I'm not a huge wine fan. No need at all. It will affect whisky very differently.
I like that approach, "drink it all 'til something cuts it". You are wise.
Leonardo Requejo highland 12
Ty for the review I just got my first angle envy to try
I bought a bottle of Angel's Envy because of this. At $60/bottle, I couldn't resist.
Price Report - Recently Costco in South Bay (Sunnyvale), California had Angel's Envy for $40, The Bevmo's around the area have AE for $55
Good video guys. Totally agree about Angels envy and that darn mooch just hasn't had good rye.
Our address is here: whiskymarketing.org/about/contact-us/
technically it's not legal to mail alcohol, but we've managed to get bottles when UPS sends it.
I have looked for angels envy in saskatchewan since this video came out I just found it today super worth the search
What do you think about doing comparisons between same whiskys, but bottles from a different time(like 10 years apart or so) ?
We do that sometimes, like with Balblair. Personally, I love to do it.
Yea i know that one, but i meant more regularly.
To me its very interesting to see how distillery changes its process with time.
Just picked up a bottle and it was only $50. Not bad if it's going for $80-$100 in other places.
What something aged in Port Barrels? Try The Quinta Ruban 12 Years Old. My Canadian friends like Angel's Envy 'cause it's smooth like Crown Royal and smells like maple syrup. Which makes it great of your holiday eggnog.
This bottle is coming from Flaviar in the mail in the next week. Can't wait. Flaviar users rate it 8.3/10 out of 2300 users.
Seeing this today and did I get bottle for about $42 last week and when I heard y’all say $80 I was shook haha
