Which accessories do you use the most? I've been building a rig with my A7IV when shooting video and it's been making my life much easier - so I've been using a mixture of all of these accessories
You deserve more subs! Keep grinding bro
Thanks man! Appreciate the kind words!
I recently just got my A7IV my only accessories so far have been a manfrotto tripod and a Diety D4 Duo mic because I create vlogs and need to have a mic facing forward and back at all times 😂 awesome video :)
Thats a great start on the essential accessories! Thanks for watching, Kevin!
Thanks!
No problem!
Good video... I also use LowePro BP450ii but i found that it is too bulky for daily use/travel. So my main bag is BP300AW as it opens up on the side.
I do have a question though, how do you organise your photos/videos on the drive?
The 450AWII is a beast of a bag, I'm a total pack mule when it comes to traveling. Not that I try to over pack, but I don't mind carrying a mirrorless camera, 2-3 lenses, drone, laptop and cables/batteries around. The bag is pretty big, but I've taken it all over the world and it's still held up! It's still my daily, all though admittedly, pretty overkill. For organizing my photos and videos, I keep them on my main drive (1) and back up to an external drive (2). I edit off of my main drive(1), then when I'm done move it to a storage drive (3) and delete the project off of my main drive (1). If it's a project I want to make sure I have a back up of, I'll keep it on the external drive (2), but if I'm okay with potentially losing the source files, I'll delete if off of (2) and only keep it on (3). Sorry if thats confusing or over-simplified. Maybe I should make an entire video going over my photo/video organization?
@@keith-knittel that would be great as i think organising photos is as important as snapping them, so one can enjoy his work without going through a lot of messy files.
Hi, Keith. Thanks for this helpful video. I looked for your video on using the Feelworld FW568 monitor with the a7IV but did not find it. The Run & Gun Rig showed you mounting the Ninja whereas this video said you use the Ninja on the a7SIII so I guess you have added the Feelworld later. Do you have a video on using the Feelworld on the a7IV? Not so much mounting it but actually using it with the a7IV and tips to getting the best from it?
Hey there Jer, I have been using the feelworld monitor for years with my overhead filming setup and quick run and gun setups indoors. If I have to be outside, I find myself reaching for the Ninja because of it's bright screen. I don't have any setup videos for the feelworld monitor, but I also have a feelworld lut 7 pro monitor too. Would you be interested in an A7IV video with the small feel world monitor, larger 7in monitor and the ninja v? Maybe when I use each of the monitors? Thanks for commenting and watching!
@@keith-knittel Keith, thanks. It looks like I'm going with the Freeworld F6Plus to get the touch screen and stay in the 5.5" size and the
Bought both filters including PolarPro 67mm Variable ND Filter (2 to 5 Stop) - Peter McKinnon Edition and they don’t fit any lens for my Sony alpha 7iV pro ☹️
Do you need V60 SD cards for Sony A7IV or will V30's work?
V30's will work depending on what you're filming. V30's will work for 4K S and HS or S HD, but S-I HD or 4K requires a v90 card. I've had a lot of people ask this exact question, maybe I should make a dedicated video about it?
Let's play a detective a little bit. :) I seen a lot of videographers and "videographers" on youtube, but this one is real special, real pro! First of all, he is using teleprompter to tell us about all his gear, ok, there are a lot... prob. hard to remember. The next question, why his face always out of focus, mmm ok. Next thingy... his monitors on the background, at first sight i thought "wow 6 monitors, pretty OP, but why someone need so many"... but wait, there are only 3, with kinda very very strangely opened windows...hmm as if someone... "someone" especially wants they pretend to be looking like 6))).... very suspicious ^^ :) The batteries...i personally having 5 and powerbank from my smartphone, just in case, and i never, never been in situation when i needed them all, 3-4 actually pretty enough for most cases. Those in the video looks pretty huge, they could power you up for a... dunno... for a week? XD Ok, the tripod...u are using a gear worth of 10K $... and a phototripod for a literally 100$...i mean... for real? 8))) thats beyond any logic at all, when even a filter for your lens from Peter McKinnon)) costs 3 times more. I could go on, but now i need to grab another beer. Sorry man, no offence pls, i just wanted to figure out which memory card i need for my new sony IV, and youtube found me this video, peace and love everyone, tnx for reading. :)
Fine, you’ve twisted my arm enough - I’ll buy three more monitors! In all seriousness though, what would you like to know about sd cards?
