      I try my best! Don’t want to ever overhype but I do want to give credit when it’s due. As always, it’s one opinion of many. Thanks for noticing the “guys” detail!

    Great video and Thank You for your recommendations.
    It is so interesting when you’re talking about something whether it be food or whatever and tell us how much it actually costs. I like to make comparisons with local prices.

    12:35 Those snails definitely didn't come from the sea. :)
    They are typically found in vineyards, olive groves and the surrounding cliffs.

    Hello. I will be in Chania on June and rent a car from Heraklion's airport. How is parkink in Heraklion, Chania?

    • @pourtherecord
      @pourtherecord  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I unfortunately didn’t rent a car sorry. I do remember streets were relatively narrow, depending where you are in the city. Enjoy your time there!

    • @ImportedFromSerbia

      Dont forget to get back here with a info about parkings in Chania.:) We are heading there in a few months.

    • @spAncArrOzzA
      @spAncArrOzzA 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ImportedFromSerbia Hey! Parking in Heraklion is not a problem, is like ''to what you want'' ahahahah
      In Chania is a bit different, you have to park in second streets and not in centre. You have to walk 5-10 minute from park to centre but is ok
      Rethymno the same of Chania

    Comparable to Germany?….so very expensive then!?

    • @pourtherecord
      @pourtherecord  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends what you compare Germany too. Because I live in Germany and from experience, the cost of food is not the highest in Europe nor is it the among the lowest. But at the end of the day, price perception is relative to your experience

    I have many objections on this video. I didn't want o make a comment but when i saw that you call 'χοχλιούς μπουμπούριστους' a sea snail platter I got upset."Χοχλιοί μπουμπουριστοι' is a statement dish in Crete. Please be careful in your future references. I am writing from Crete and i feel you haven't made enough research so as to understand my culture. Please do not refer to things you do not understand

    • @pourtherecord
      @pourtherecord  หลายเดือนก่อน

      My apologies, when I translated it to English I got „budding snails.“ I simply saw a plate of snails so that was my best interpretation of it 😅How should it be called in English?

    • @pourtherecord
      @pourtherecord  หลายเดือนก่อน

      What were the other objections? Obviously I’m not Greek so I’m happy to learn more about your great culture 😊

    • @ari-kt7xp
      @ari-kt7xp หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@pourtherecord Obviously you have to earn it yourself. If you are in it for some likes continue the path you have taken. You are not a Greek I accept your excuse... but me, as a Greek I owe it to myself to say that you are missing the point.

    • @ari-kt7xp
      @ari-kt7xp หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@pourtherecord You can ask your waiter. You can ask a local. You can ask a person not google. My point exactly. You do the effort to travel to a place and you do not live the experience. You just google something while you have people around you. Information is all around the internet. Knowledge is something you conquer through research, trial and error.

  • @davedenham8697
    @davedenham8697 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    So how much did these restaurants pay you to promote them?!…..you’re a con

    • @pourtherecord
      @pourtherecord  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn’t get paid at all. I shared my honest opinions about the places I visited. How is that being a con?

    • @ImportedFromSerbia
      @ImportedFromSerbia 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You may or may not be a right, but he had posted places he visited and PRICES. It is up to anyone to visit these or some of it and see if food and service stand for quality we people pay.
      BTW he just started his channel (# of subscribers).

    Correction: The snails at 12:34 are not from the sea but rather from likely vineyards, olive groves and surrounding cliffs.
