- A popular Goan breakfast combo, these two recipes are easy to make and at same time they will surely make you nostalgic after eating, chana masala tastes delicious and exactly like how it is served in Goan restaurants.
Goan Channa Masala:
► This quick and easy Goan chana masala is made without coconut and is full of flavourful spices, it is delicious and mouth-watering, make and enjoy this super tasty dish at home.
Puri:
► My absolute favourite Puri recipe, I always use blend of 2 flours to make these tasty fluffy Puris, they are usually served with savoury curries or with a sweet dish, you can enjoy them with Goan chana masala.
Note:
1. Maintain the Oil temperature by increasing or decreasing the flame when needed while frying Puris

1 cup = 250 ml; Tbsp. = Tablespoon = 15 ml; tsp. = teaspoon = 5 ml; g = grams

Ingredients:
1 cup Whole Wheat Flour (Chapatti flour / Atta)
½ cup Plain Flour (Maida)
2 tsp. Cooking Oil
Salt to Taste
Serves: About 16 Puris (depending on size)
Preparation Time: 20 mins
Goan Channa Masala
Ingredients:
1 cup dried Chickpeas
1 ½ cups Onion
1 cup Tomato
1 large Green Chilli
4 Garlic Cloves
1" Ginger
¼ tsp. Turmeric Powder
½ tsp. Mustard Seeds
½ tsp. Cumin Seeds
1 tsp. Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp. Coriander Powder
1 tsp. Garam Masala
Coriander Leaves (for garnishing)
Cooking Oil
Salt to Taste
Serves: 6 -8
Preparation Time: 20 mins
