Left a short question and came back to read the answer. No bad energy here and quite fascinating really. Certainly wouldn't put a thumbs down but I guess that speaks of maturity and a lack of negativity.
Just want to thank you so much. I have always craved the outdoor life, it's not possible for me to do what you do unfortunately but I have a basic gazebo in my garden which I slept in for some of the year until it became too wet and cold. Thanks to you and people like you I have learned so much about waterproofing, heating etc. I know most people around me would think I am a little crazy but it's so good to see people like you who completely relate. It's basically regaining your sanity in this crazy world and getting back to the beautiful natural world God created. Nothing can beat waking up to the purity of bird song!
Spent 6 months in the national forest of north georgia here in USA 2019 and loved every minute of it! Went many days without even seeing another person. 2 juvenile bears crept up on me, I was mining for gem stones and they were foraging and didnt see me nor did I see them until they had walked right up on me. Maybe 4 feet away. Not sure who was most scared! They went 1 way and I went the other. Hahaha good times! Seriously I bout messed up my britches! Hoping to go back soon!
This looks so cool, with the whole family out in the bush. Even the teenage daughter you have managed to bring with you, impressive. In fact, this is a lifestyle that I would like to try over a longer period of time. In any case you have made a tough decision. Respect to you all. @@BushwackerMan Buddy, greetings from Bulgaria. I am doing the same thing only I had 8 years experience. Can I give you a tip? Get seeds mushroom spawn, and compost pile build. Chop and store your wood in April for the winter. As you know wet wood smokes too much and doesn't burn or warm right. You can easily grow potatoes and beans as well as stinging nettle where you are at. Learn the hugulkultre gardening method and get moving. Soon you won't be able to buy food without the chip or the jab

I'm on a spiritual journey and this week leave on my own to find a remote bush/beach location. I'm 37 and never thought i'd see the day considering my life was always clubs, partying, ect. I did invest in solar for my laptop so I can be creative and use the time to work on business, but the goal is to keep off the technology as much as possible. I have a few extras for fun such as my surfboard, firestick for spinning, djembe to jam on, throwing knives, snorkel set, boxing bag for muay thai. Soon will plant a (illegal) greenhouse and use an air to water machine. Also after seeing your videos I decided I would try make some of my own furniture instead of buying for the challenge and to get back to my human roots a little . I really hope I enjoy it as I hope to make it as permanent as I can. If a year passes a little cat or dog will join the adventure. Thank you for sharing these videos, the production was a real wholesome watch. The peace truly has my souls calling.

If we all did this the wood would be all gone in a year. This type of thing takes a hell of a toll on our resources. Fortunately only a few can afford to do it.

I did . It has been the best decision I've ever made . It took some planning and saving for the property purchase. No debts and living simply . I've lost weight and definitely feel better . I'm just about to wrap up year #2 .
I'm just recently retired. Going to try camping in my state on the coast. No worries about snow. Florida does not have it! Thanks for the video! Loved it!

Does the tent fill with steam as the rain runs in allover the hot stove? I have a silicon stove jack which creates a water tight seal where the chimney exits the tent. Just found your channel, glad that I did. Obviously I have subscribed. After watching this, I can feel the 'inner peasant' waiting to surface. Only a few centuries ago, Britain was covered in forest, with the occasional moor. I think they may have had a better quality of life then (except for Doctors and Dentists) than we have in the compartmentalised lives, that we endure today. I hope that you can keep these coming.😉😎😎

I used to live in North GA. In adairsville. I use to hunt and camp up in dunaway gap

Dont leave food out in open,box it tight.
Mice get into food especially corn seeds etc..
Once you get mice you get snakee
I use the large glass jars with metal lids to keep mice and ants out of my food. Built a shelf to hold 16 of them.

Just found your channel, glad that I did. Obviously I have subscribed. After watching this, I can feel the 'inner peasant' waiting to surface. Only a few centuries ago, Britain was covered in forest, with the occasional moor. I think they may have had a better quality of life then (except for Doctors and Dentists) than we have in the compartmentalised lives, that we endure today. I hope that you can keep these coming.😉😎😎
