- 4 seasons spent in the bushcraft camp in the woods living free. Camping in my military 10 man Arctic tent longterm. Crafting shelters, tables and chairs, carving utensils and dutch oven campfire cooking. Spending time with my family in nature through spring, summer, autumn and winter in the snow, rain, wind and sunshine.

I use the large glass jars with metal lids to keep mice and ants out of my food. Built a shelf to hold 16 of them.

Spent 6 months in the national forest of north georgia here in USA 2019 and loved every minute of it! Went many days without even seeing another person. 2 juvenile bears crept up on me, I was mining for gem stones and they were foraging and didnt see me nor did I see them until they had walked right up on me. Maybe 4 feet away. Not sure who was most scared! They went 1 way and I went the other. Hahaha good times! Seriously I bout messed up my britches! Hoping to go back soon!

Omg so good. Brings back memerys of living on a narrowboat for25 years. Now back on land due to health issues. Still no tv car or papers. Thats the way to go .. thank you...

I'm on a spiritual journey and this week leave on my own to find a remote bush/beach location. I'm 37 and never thought i'd see the day considering my life was always clubs, partying, ect. I did invest in solar for my laptop so I can be creative and use the time to work on business, but the goal is to keep off the technology as much as possible. I have a few extras for fun such as my surfboard, firestick for spinning, djembe to jam on, throwing knives, snorkel set, boxing bag for muay thai. Soon will plant a (illegal) greenhouse and use an air to water machine. Also after seeing your videos I decided I would try make some of my own furniture instead of buying for the challenge and to get back to my human roots a little . I really hope I enjoy it as I hope to make it as permanent as I can. If a year passes a little cat or dog will join the adventure. Thank you for sharing these videos, the production was a real wholesome watch. The peace truly has my souls calling.

@@BushwackerMan The best soil from compost is free from a high alkaline is free from pine sap and pine needles and food. No animal scraps and a hand full of worms.

I live in the the woods, but in a house! Love being in the woods. You can go outside in your underwear. Neighbors 2 to 5 miles away.

Just found your channel, glad that I did. Obviously I have subscribed. After watching this, I can feel the 'inner peasant' waiting to surface. Only a few centuries ago, Britain was covered in forest, with the occasional moor. I think they may have had a better quality of life then (except for Doctors and Dentists) than we have in the compartmentalised lives, that we endure today. I hope that you can keep these coming.😉😎😎

Those arctic tents with the liner can be quite cozy especially when that’s all you have to get out of the elements.

Had one of those tents. 17' diameter. I lived in mine almost 1 year. Now I have a cabin and the tent is long gone. Destroyed by the desert sun

This took some time to discover after making bread in frypan, grilling bread etc.
Get a generic pot lid for your iron pan, now it is an Owen on low heat. You can make the best best bread this way. I have made pizza, chocolate cake, steamed veggies. All kinds of stuff. You can get these steel lids at large super markets with kitchen supplies

The arctic's aren't bad, personally though i prefer the big old Sidwall long tents, running an outer and an inner liner... you can set up beds in them, stove, tables, lights, throw up a set of solar pannels on top, solar generator and lights inside.

@@BushwackerMan in the canadian military we used the arctic (identical to yours) for remote deployments, essentially 1 per truck crew. And the larger sidewalls for "bivowak" or command camping., where we weren't planning on moving for weeks or months.
This allowed for a much greater level of comfort and theire for higher moral. We had the green outer, with a white inner liner acting as an air gap and insulation The heavy metal frame also allowed for massive snow loading.
Comically enough, you COULD go for a poor mans version for your kitchen tent. Picture one of those 'portable garage" tents... with metal frame, then an extra, heavy or superheavy tarp over it with tie downs to help with sstability and wind resistance... You could then set up actual tables in there, chairs, kitchen cook set. even a little buddy heater if needed.
