    The OLED screen on the Huawei P30 Pro comes in at 6.47 inches, with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It’s a solid resolution for a phone in $800 range. Much of what makes the Huawei P30 Pro feel extra special is the 50x zoom rear camera. The Huawei P30 Pro is powered by octa-core processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage. As far as the cameras are concerned, Huawei P30 Pro packs a 40-megapixel wide-angle camera and 20-megapixel ultrawide-angle camera on the rear and a 32-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
    The display of your Huawei P30 Pro can get broken or ineffective because of unsuitable operation and crash. You can buy a Huawei P30 Pro screen with the frame to fix the phone. A screen without frame is not recommanded because the screen vibrator is not easy to install.
    It is difficult and complicated to separate OLED screen and touch screen when you want to repair each of them. This is the best solution to replace the broken or ineffective screen of your Huawei P30 Pro.
    Follow this video to replace the digitizer and OLED screen of your Huawei P30 Pro in below conditions:
    The screen of your Huawei P30 Pro got broken, cracked;
    Colored spots and lines keep showing on the screen;
    There is an orange spot in the same area of the display screen;
    Rainbow pattern or color-blocks shows on some areas of the screen;
    The touch screen is not sensitive enough to execute your orders.
    We will upload other repair guides of Huawei P30 Pro as soon as possible. Tell us which part of Huawei P30 Pro you want to replace at comment section.

    For anyone who is deciding to go on this adventure. This video covers the replacement process pretty well. The only problem that I faced is that the replacement screen which I ordered didn't contain the ear loudspeaker. Therefore, I had to look at other tutorials in order to find out how to remove it from my old frame and attach it to the new one. This process involves removing the actual glass from the old frame as one parts of the ear loudspeaker is magnetically connected to the actual LCD. This is a very important step and if you don't do it properly you won't be able to talk to other people using your phone.
    Another thing that isn't show in this video is that you maybe need to transfer the red rubber water protecting cover of the bottom loudspeaker which can be seen at the image at 4:30 (bottom left red rectangle).
    It took well over 3 hours for me to finish the whole process but I ultimately made it. I am almost a complete beginner, the only thing that I changed before was a battery at an iPhone 7 but that was peanuts compared to this.
    If you're ever in doubt on what to do next check out the longer tutorials which are available on TH-cam without the cuts.
    In general, I would suggest watching a couple of tutorials before you start the process as it is not so straightforward as shown here.
    Lastly, big thanks to Wit Rigs! You guys did a great overall job and saved us all some money! Cheers!

      If the earpeace is magnetically connected with the old LCD shouldn't it be connected with the new one aswell? So you have to remove the old class but you can just put into onto the new one? how so?
      I will try to repair my p30 pro, so maybe you yould link the video you were using for your repair?

    Just saved myself a lot of money with this video, thank you so much. I also found that new frames do not have the earpiece installed and you did not include this step either, so if anyone is having problems hearing during a call check the earpiece 😝 don’t throw the old frame away

      I have had replaced my P30 Pro's screen from a local repair shop, and my ear piece isn't working at all. He did not remove the iron sheet behind the screen along with magnetic ring, instead damaged the magnetic ring attached to black iron sheet which is stick with old damaged display. :(

    I just want give a big thanks for this video!!
    ive manage doing that by my own. I got a bit scared because when i wans trying testing, the screen didn't turn on and there was a little screw missing out in my new screen that i just swap from the old one . unfortunately my fingerprint sensor stopped recognize and i can not renew my fingerprint (i must have fucked up) this part. Other than that, it was all great at end, with my new amoled screen, i even manage to change my the usb that was not workling properly. thanks for sharing information with that video. my phone in vog L 29 model

  • @MGKday

    great kit, great video, just finished successfully changing my screen !! ONLY thing missing, and it's a big pain in the ass now, is that you forgot to mention to remove the "red" protective film in front of selfie camera....from the inside ! so now my selfie pictures are all with a pinkish color...and if I open the phone again, i dont have adhesive left to close it again properly....besides that, all seems to be working fine now.

      Mate you don't have as big a issues as me. I have that tape over the fingerprint scanner stuck to the lcd before attaching to the frame at witrigs. I tried to remove it but couldn't and ended up using a pin to pull it out leaving a small black spot on the screen. I literally couldn't remove the film as it was stuck as a protective when witrigs refurbished it as it was the custom model and then forgot to remove it before they attached it to frame, as I bought the custom frame and screen kit. Now I have to buy a new one. I'd tested the screen and removed the warranty film which is why I went ahead with the attempted fix. Atleast my fingerprint works now but a sacrifice for a good screen. This was mistake on witrigs half but what can I do. :(

    • @MGKday
      @MGKday 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@charlescockburn6269 if it is a recomfort : i ended up reopening the screen to remove the protective red film from the selfie camera, i put the screen back and.....well i used the screws in a different order and ended up having 5 or 6 black holes (that spread) over the screen as some screws are longer than others.....so the screen after a while started flashing and now is totally unusable and i ended up buying a second screen, which i am waiting to be delivered as we speak....

    What was the heated tool to loosen the battery cover before removing? When opening will a suction cup and guitar picks work like with the P9 or should it be opened with the ultra thin plastic cards?

    • @adamgatter2132
      @adamgatter2132 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The gap around the phone Is very tight and they glue it down very well. the cards get in slightly easier. But I think he has applied heat. There is no way those cards alone would get through the adhesive strip.
