Thanks for the video, we plan to tackle North and south America in a couple years after Central Asia and Europe. What is your planed itinerary back to Europe? We took the northern route (Russia, Mongolia) from Japan to central Asia and currently have our car stored in Kazakhstan. We will return in may to continue our trip to Germany, might see you on the way?!
The Americas border crossings sound very smooth. We did some african crossings, like mozambique, tunisia, algeria and morocco. mozambique was the same like the americas, tunisia is really easy, algeria took us 9 hours from entering the port terminal until driving on the ferry. Entering Morocco was stressfull because I left all the car papers on my desk at home....I just had a printed form which I prepared in advance....looked which one of the customs had an easy going attitude , put my passport and the form in his hand and asked if he wanted to check my truck....he looked at the truck, asked if I had weapons and went to his little office. Came back with my stamped passport and wished me bon voyage....I think this was an exceptionally close call and we were very lucky...otherwise it would have been a very short stay.....we had dhl send the papers to marrakech. Fantastic trip from then on.

oooh had no idea. Obviously not my main language (mathilde) and it is pretty hard to get rid of language habits... but will think about it in the future. I hope people understand it is always a challenge to speak English when you re not native.
