I love how in 4, Wesker NEVER panics or gets upset when things don't go to plan. He immediately comes up with a way to adapt and make the best of the situation. The only time he somewhat gets frustrated is when ada says Leon is still alive and he taps his fingers, but he still manages to find a way to use it to his advantage. This is the real Mastermind personality we all know. Loved him in 5 as well, but you could tell his sanity was slipping and making more impulsive decisions
I tend to lean towards the idea that the virus within him made him more aggressive In RE 5. Its my least fav version of Wesker as he seems to have completely changed. I liked the cold, calculating, emotionally controlled Wesker better than tantrum wesker. RE 1, the umbrella chronicles, Re2, Re 4 all had a consistent characterization of Wesker as someone who was one step ahead and calm.

“Cares about people”? You really don’t know anything about Ada if you think she cared at all for that cop. The only reason she gasped is because she doesn’t wanna end up like him. She doesn’t give a damn about anyone except for herself and only gives minor exceptions to Leon and people she owes favors to or people she can use. The only people she ever helped in any of the games were Leon and Sherry (in re6). Everyone else, including Ashley, Luis, Wesker, Chris, Helena, and Jake were irrelevant to her. Maybe next time play the games again before making dumb and incorrect statements about the characters.

Not to mention how in the same part you are also trying to shoot the zombies near groups of survivors across 2 rooftops back-to-back. Someone who only gave a damn about themself wouldn't do any of these actions or say that. If you want to replay it yourself, should be at some point in chapter 5. Have fun!
I can't believe Ada would even work for Albert "Terminator" Wesker. Sure, he's good looking, rich, and deadly, but those are qualities you want in a soldier or maybe boyfriend, not your boss! I would be scared shitless every time he calls me and asks "Is Leon dead yet?"

No, Assignment Ada (the cutscene you see at the end of this video) is not canon, it was just a side story to main campaign but couldn't get too long due to the GameCube's capacity limitations. That's why Separate Ways has another ending, coz it came in later versions of the game

I personally like previous wesker voice actors because they sound like a calm cold blooded hitman or spy. The reason why im not a fan of re5 version because that wesker is more like a mad crazy version of him making him look like a nerf version.

The new Wesker in the RE4 Remake Separate Ways sounds like those heavy breathing crank callers that you used to get in the old days of landline telephones before Caller ID was a thing. Richard Waugh was fantastic as Wesker in the OG RE4, RE CV(X) and RE 0 and it's a fucking shame that he was replaced with a new VA who just doesn't cut it at Wesker. OG Wesker is cool, calm and collected and even when pissed off, he handles it like a pro, this new Wesker is about one thing going wrong and flipping out, like those bodybuilders who take steroids and other testosterone supplements, the guy is about as cool as fucking lava. Now, to be fair, the new Wesker VA could be actually a good VA, but has just been given shitty direction by Capcom - who are doing their best to murder remakes of the classic OG RE games - good actors can be led astray by Capcom developers who clearly have no respect for the original source materials.

I could be wrong but Wesker got a hold of the super computer and satalite in 2002 or 2003 before the events of RE4 which took place in 2004. Umbrella went under in 2003 due to the US freezing their assets, stocks failing and public outcry against Umbrella. Wesker also did cover actions against Umbrellas remaining leaders before 2004.....hope this helps This was shown in the Nintendo Wii game Umbrella chroncles

Wesker's ultimate goal was not that one seemed in RE5, After Mikami abandoned the series they went on with that Uroboros natural selection thing
@@Gabriel_KRTT I wish they wouldn't have. I hated the whole Uroboros project nonsense. Wesker never came across as a "I want to destroy the world in order to save it" type of villain to me. They should have just let him remain in the shadows pulling his shenanigans from behind the scenes instead of thrusting him into the spotlight and killing him in RE5.

She does simply give Wesker that sample after he teased his plans for the world and did the villain laugh though. That#s one thing I think the remake did better. Ada actually asks questions and doesn't just endanger billions even though she's clearly not heartless.
@@Sercil00Fyi, thhe last clip was not canon. And its called "Assigment of Ada", a what if story from different timeline wheres Ada never betrayed Wesker. In the O.G Ada was more smart, she alread knows Wesker intention and betrays him and send him a fake plagas. While the remakes she quite clueless despite working as mercenary.

Here's a question, why didn't Wesker go down there and get the sample himself instead of sending ada? clearly it was important to him and he's more then capable of getting it, after all unlike ada, the dude is fast enough to dodge bullets, i doubt axes and crossbows would stop him.
He was busy building tricell and other stuff. Perhaps he learn the hard way from code veronica not to fighting other BOW like him directly

It's Resident Evil dude, these games (at least from 4 to 6) don't take themselves seriously, hence all the action movie tropes, exaggerated stunts, and overall chessiness.

The new Wesker in the RE4 Remake Separate Ways sounds like those heavy breathing crank callers that you used to get in the old days of landline telephones before Caller ID was a thing.
Richard Waugh was fantastic as Wesker in the OG RE4, RE CV(X) and RE 0 and it's a fucking shame that he was replaced with a new VA who just doesn't cut it at Wesker. OG Wesker is cool, calm and collected and even when pissed off, he handles it like a pro, this new Wesker is about one thing going wrong and flipping out, like those bodybuilders who take steroids and other testosterone supplements, the guy is about as cool as fucking lava.
Now, to be fair, the new Wesker VA could be actually a good VA, but has just been given shitty direction by Capcom - who are doing their best to murder remakes of the classic OG RE games - good actors can be led astray by Capcom developers who clearly have no respect for the original source materials.

I could be wrong but Wesker got a hold of the super computer and satalite in 2002 or 2003 before the events of RE4 which took place in 2004. Umbrella went under in 2003 due to the US freezing their assets, stocks failing and public outcry against Umbrella. Wesker also did cover actions against Umbrellas remaining leaders before 2004.....hope this helps
