@@edhcb9359 You might be right to do so, i do feel the space in the shoe tho. Sadly the return policy is quite expensive, they even suggest selling the previous shoe and buy the new one.
@@rir9005 The real barrier for sizing is availability. A lot of people want to try the boots on. I am not ordering 3 pairs to try on at home. Then sending 2 pairs back. Ultimately, I wear shoes with access via brick and mortar availability. I go to stores with inventory so that I can try on shoes to get the right fit.
Great video man! I'm really torn about these boots. I have ended up with only 1 pair of boots that I love and have kept and its a pair of Oak Streets but I've been really wanting an Alden Indy as they're just so much more casual and versatile. I feel like I'm wearing old military boots with these Oak Streets. These seem like a great alternative but I'm always stressing about sizing
On the sizing, on Luosjiet recommendation, I went to my regular Brannock size(10EE) for my larger EE width size(Luos 10us/44), and it fit perfect after it settle on my feet. Sizing down as some of my others boots would had been to tight. So would only go down with a regular E width. On the Indiana boots, the only flaw are the laces that doesn't hold up at all, but with new laces, they're just fantastic in that Waxy Olive color. Great quality. Would eventually get leather stack heels when resoling times comes.
Thanks for all your videos! They are very informative. I have a small request. Can you do a similar size comparison between your Alden Indys and the Luosjiet Indiana Jones as you did in this video?
@@matshansson2020 I get my Alden’s in 12D and if I were to get the Luosjiet Indiana jones boots I would get a 46. The length would likely be the same but the LJ only comes in an E width
Good idea to measure the insole and outside width. Boot and shoe makers should also do this. It seems to me that it's an additional way to provide meaningful info to buyers.
The sizing guide surely helps! Saw a post on instagram on their tan refresh service boots and they don’t fair well in rain (stain, water leaks into the boot). And the service boots are extremely flexible that you can fold them in half. Are your Indy boots more water resistant and less flexible? Is the grip better on the Indy?
I saw that post also. I did a video entitled Luosjiet vs Water where I test them out in rain and both of mine aren’t that flexible. Maybe the tan refresh is more flexible with the service boot but not really sure.
@@YouShoe-1985 I saw that video too! I’m now thinking about getting their Indy boots. how’s the outsole holding up on your luosjiet service boots? Is it more durable or grippier than the v-bar on your Indy?
Good idea to make such comparison. What about allen edmonds freeport boots, how they canpare in sizing? I remember you made review on them, probably oxfords and boots have different lasts.
I'm a 9.5D brannock and went for the my red wing 9D size according to their guide which was the 42.5. Sadly they feel a tad too wide and give me lots of heel slip due to the sock liner. Should have I went with the sneaker side instead and get the 42 to compensate the width ?
@YouShoe-1985 i found someone to buy the boot instead tho. My dr scholl insoles did not helped much when i tried them with. Might just purchase them in 42 instead of 42.5. shame they don't make the indy in D

If you like that snug fit I would go down a full step on the Indy boot but probably only a 1/2 on the service since Indy is an e width while the service boot is a d.
Just to clarify. The luisjiet Indiana Jones boots are a E width while the luisjiet Service boots are a D width
I’m going down an extra half size on my Indiana Jones order. You better be right! 😂
