3:30 I'm confused, does Jeremy think Reality shows like "The Bachelor" are based on reality? All these Reality shows are scripted, not fully maybe, maybe there's some improvisation, but TV series like these need to be scripted in order to have longevity on the network, you can't just have a show completely based on reality, because reality is largely boring, so they need to make up scenarios in order to catch people's attention. Of course the actors don't fall in love, they were acting.

I never understood the appeal of the show or participating in it, I mean, what's the appeal of people fighting over who the biggest simp is?
I have friends who watch the show and similiar ones a lot and the appeal according to them is pretty much just to be at the contestants. For the participants themselves I would assume that they do it for fame, not because they sincerely think they will find love.
