Somehow the failure happening off-beat to the bass drop made it even funnier, like the fact it didn't time perfectly was just the "life is pain, the world never goes the way you want it, you cannot bask in your glory without the universe handing you a crushing defeat seconds later". The music also brang me back to the nostalgic days of when this song would play at every birthday party as a kid, and seeing the avatar collapsed on the ground was like the cold, hard hitting truth that now I'm in my adult years watching a balding manchild dwarf play a game designed to bring him great pain. Then when Joel stopped streaming mario maker I switched to this video and laughed.
