@@ChiaChun I lived in Clayton until 1980. Then came back in the late 80’s and moved out in the early 90’s. Back again in the late 90’s but only for a couple of years. Haven’t been back for a while. When I go past, on the train, I can see quite a few changes.
The Coles near Centre Rd was a Venture store. Which was owned by Coles. Coles don’t want a Woolies near them if they can help it. Check out the two Coles at Knox City. One of them used to be a Bi-Lo.
@@petertrezise4545 Good business strategy by Coles! I rmb I have to cycle 7km from Clayton to the Woolies in Springvale to get their homebrand items (which is really inconvenient)

Moved to Clayton in 1958 when I was 3 years old. It has changed a lot. Actually worked in the old Coles back in ‘70 or ‘71.
