I think it's most closely related to a Goggomobil TS-250 but that's a bit of a niche reference (look up the brand if you haven't heard of Europe's all time most adorable cars!)
What I loved: - The shape and form factor - The weight - The consideration of lifetime Questionable aspects: - Why does a vehicle like this need to go any faster than 90 mph? - Why bother with the back seat instead of having batteries there and leaving the front free for a frunk? - Why not make it more affordable, especially if you want to make a new Beetle? Would be far more popular if it were in the £28-32K range. Start by having a less powerful motor with lower top speed.
As Tesla has proven, it's a good strategy to go for the high-end market first, since it's more profitable. The money made from that can then be used to develop a lower-cost version, leveraging economies of scale. Trying to build a production line from nothing with no revenue is a tall order for investors.
I think, that this is form factor that would we viable for ~$10k, mostly for ppl 18-30 yrs old before they start a family or for single ppl of any age… However at current pricetag, I'm not sure if they can sell more than 1k world-wide…
Yeah, it doesn't look like a muscle car at all, but rather like a late 50s/ early 60s Italian designed sports coupe. I personally think it doesn't look bad at all. Unlike most EVs which look atrocious. However a car like this won't be street legal in most countries, and I doubt it will be around as long as those cars it seeks to emulate.

The front and interior look very 50s/60s Italian/European coupe. That said, I love both the GT and the GTS. I'd have one if the range was better or the price was much lower. Gorgeous cars. I've been waiting and waiting for you to take a look at the Nobe! I'm super keen on Human-scale tadpole cars like the Nobe, Solo, Sondors (if it ever comes out), and Aptera. It just makes so much sense to design cars for the uses they'll actually face; and to me, that's this rather than a huge SUV.

I've not watched the full yet... But my first impressions are that the front end reminds me of a classic Alfa Romeo. Which is a great start, as they are gorgeous.
After watching the whole video, I have to say I really like the car as a whole. It's great to see smaller electric cars. This what we need more of. That being said though, we also need more affordable small electric cars. Hopefully they can introduce a more budget originated option down the line as well.
Super cool, i loved the unveiling at the live show 🤟⚡💚
I want one! I've been waiting to see the Aptera start to become available, but I am concerned that it might be too wide for my liking. This Nobe GT looks perfect - I love the retro-but-modern styling.
Retro styling, modern engineering. Its time has come!
What a marvellous design. Hope they succeed and we can see this gems on our roads soon
Gorgeous. Would buy it in a heartbeat.
This guy has just the right amount of craziness this world needs right now, I really want to see this company making this work, but at these prices, I don't know.
As a 6’8” man, never have I wanted to see someone put their seat back more in my life.
Maybe he can mod it when he gets one ;-)
I love it. Modern yet a design that will age like fine wine.
I love the design, I hope that one day it'll be a bit more affordable. Not to mention the cost of having one imported once they manage to get production up and running.
That man is a delight! I really hope he succeeds.
great presenting, thank you!
I hope they get this to market successfully, if they do my eNiro is on borrowed time. Brilliant piece of design.
I don't think too many people would buy one as a daily driver but I could see a car share company doing great business renting these out at railway stations or airports. You can park and charge a whole lot of them in a small space.
A big part of our business model is B2B sales to high end hotels!
This Retro design is so cool
Looks great! So many cars look alike nowadays so it’s nice to see something different! - I’d drive one 👍
Fabulous car. I want one.
Too bad it costs so much. Perhaps Nobe will consider doing an introduction/base model with a fibreglass body 🤔
No? Oh, ok.
I’ll simply have to wait for one to come onto the used car market in a few years 😀
Good luck with this endeavour Nobe 👏
Goggomobil lives! Great to see this. Hopefully it comes to fruition.
Love it, I want one NOW! - but I hope they make a cheaper version.
What a nice (and confusing) EV! The GT version is really nice, great review, thank you for sharing! 🔌⚡🚘
I hope you bring this to life.
More expensive to have fewer wheels? Love it!!
More expensive to have an all carbon fiber tub (like in F1 cars) to protect the occupants. This will be the first commercial car with an all carbon fiber tub :-)
@@walterrowntree7031 that it definitely will be I would be more interested in this vehicle if it wasn’t so expensive. Again it’s still a car out of reach for many. I know they did not intend it to be anything else. I’m still Awaiting the affordable and usable Ev with hopefully some style too! Not sure I need a carbon chassis.
With added Sandy Munro, I believe?
