Tierlist of Germania's Buildings in Rome: Total War

- In this video I present my opinion of all Germania's buildings in Rome: Total War by making a tierlist. What are the best buildings and what are trash? The building requirements affect to a degree for the rating but do not make a decisive impact. The same list applies to both the original game and Remastered.
What do you think? Should a unit be higher or lower in the tier list and why. Share your opinion in the comments!

The channel contains three categories:
1) Playing of quality old games or remastered versions of them
2) Some funny shorts, guides or tier lists related to quality old games or remastered versions of them
3) Games that hopefully will become quality old games later :)
Most of the games will be strategy, or role-playing games. You can also make suggestions.

Actually this is a first time people do building tier list in this game i hope you doing it until medival 2 total war. Still no need to rush.

I love how the 3 religious buildings have their utilities. You mostly want gothic cav but you also want some berserker for the funsies and screeching women are nice for the morale debuff as well. Most factions have a cut-and-dried answer as to what temple to build. Once again, Germania is the dev's favorite non-roman faction.

One thing about the Tavarn / Barbic circle buildings is that you need to be carefull where you place them.
There are some negative traits & retinues they can give to generals stationed in a settlement with those.

On bigger unit scales, anything that boosts pop growth is absolutely crucial. So since I always play on the Huge unit scale, I myself would put at least the first two farming buildings and the trader in "Must Build". Also I think the extra movement speed, from the roads, is a bit underrated in your list tbh
Thanks for the comment. Imo it depends a bit. Fully agreed, if you want to grow organically. If one wants to advance quickly to larger cities, then not necessary :)
@@qualityoldgames7721 Thank you for responding. Even then, boosting your population artificially isn't easy in that part of the world map. The settlements you take are tiny so there aren't many slaves, using peasants while also training spear warbands will leave your towns with 400 pop very quickly, and you don't have the money to hire mercenaries to disband, because the trade in the north sea is much less lucrative than the Mediterranean.
@@johanbuis1369 Thanks for the comment. I agree to a degree and run to a bit of similar problem in my recent Germania playthrough. Still, it did not prove to be that big of a problem imo ;)

Not that it really matters, but I noticed terrible frame rates in this video. It could be just an issue on my end, but the audio was playing just fine. The cursor and image movement was like 2 frames per second without exaggerating during much of the middle of the video. It does not significantly detract from my enjoyment of the content, the words and concepts matter much more than frame rate, but it got very choppy for me.
If you do not see an issue on your end and no one else in the comments has an issue then please ignore this comment.
Thanks for the heads-up. I checked that, and it seems that happens at times. It seems I need to cease doing anything else while the processing of the video is happening. :)
@@qualityoldgames7721 excellent. Glad this comment was helpful to you. I think I only even really noticed it this video because my eyes lost track of where you were moving the cursor and image quite a lot and it made me realize I was watching choppy frames. Normally that stuff doesn't bother me.
If something is moving at 30 fps I hear people complain and I can't even tell the difference. This time even my old eyes had issues with a frame rate, which is highly unusual for me.

Ghotic cavalry is the best unit at germans so obviously Woden is the best temple
