I seem to have the same problem, though it is intermittent. when the servo does work it is sometimes noisy. I tried taking mine apart, but the boom refuses to split apart, like there is a screw still in it. I just watched your video to see if there is a secret, but yours just popped apart. Your screw gear should screw right out, I think you have something stuck in it, and I think I have something stuck in the gears or something. I just now noticed there is a part 2! I'll give that a watch.
If I am not mistaken, arm servo is the red connector? If so plug it directly into red socket on circuit board. If servo works it's your harness. Also try the bucket servo in the arm connector to see if it ain't the circuit board. I noticed some of the male pins are not soldered well and the pins back out on the circuit board. Try to power it from battery.
yeah i might give that a try :) but i have put the servo under a lot of stress when digging so a spare one wouldn't go a miss even if there is some bad soldering.
@@Granite-City-RC power is in the bucket curl. Lots think pulling arm is the digging force. When trenching yes, but you don't don't go as deep with the bucket.
with my ground being so compacted and hard to dig i tend to try and use both in combination .... and push through the clicks of doom from the servos lol
hello I have a problem with my huina 580 excavator as soon as I use the tracks the battery is reset immediately do you have any suggestions thank you very much.
I'm no expert in electronics unfortunately, but what i would do is try and investigate what is causing the problem .Also what do you mean by the battery is reset? ..... I would start with checking the battery. Do you have a battery tester? Or anything else that the battery fits , like a dump truck or front loader ? if so , try it in there first and make sure the battery works. If the battery is ok, then i'd open up the excavator and check for any loose wires. Look at the mother board first for any loose connections or worn wires. If thats ok, then check the wires to the motors and the connections as well for any signs of damage.

@@Granite-City-RC lol! Need to get some firecrackers. Replicates tnt! 😉😂
lol, the thought did cross my mind once or twice ;)
What size are the allen bolts that hold the arm together? I have a broken flange on mine and I need to split it to weld the new flange on.
no allen bolts / hex hardware , its all cross head screws. also , not sure what the metal is but its not iron/steel

@@Granite-City-RC Thanks for the advice I'll try to check for any damaged cables between the motors 👍
@@fernandoricchiuti7450 no problem, let me know how you get on :)
@@Granite-City-RC sorry if I bother you the cables are fine I wanted to send you a video to make you understand better
