Beetlejuice’s dance emote is directly lifted from the first movie, where he uses his powers to advertise himself to the Maitlands on a TV, and he does that exact dance. The Beetlejuice Beetlejuice sign that appears is also the same sign placed above his “grave” in the mini-model he resides in.
I believe you are correct which based on my ranking system I should have given more credit for character representation. I still don't believe this works as a taunt though but I can appreciate it more for what it's trying to represent. Thank you for pointing this out!

I really appreciate that Gizmo’s Flight of Fancy emote is basically the opposite of Stripe’s Puppets emote. Showing the difference between Gizmo and Gremlins in general.
Fun fact. If you press Jacks blindfold taunt again while he’s blindfolded he will actually rip the blindfold off which (in my opinion) makes it S tier. This makes it super unique since it’s the only taunt in the game where if you press it twice it will be different!
12:48 How funny would it be if Lebron actually threw the basketball at the end of the animation and it had a hitbox that damaged enemies, like some of the few Smash taunts that actually hurt you like Luigi's, Greninja's, Kazuya's and such, kind of a missed opportunity
I think what they need to do for emotes is make a unique animation for everyone's default, make all the emotes that don't loop have a common price tag, and make all the emotes that do loop have a rare price tag and I also want them to make it so you can buy all the emotes with prestige if you want to.
I just wanna say how f-ing hilarious it was that Agent Smith's legendary spoon taunt used to be usable for free if you used a sticker emote and that I was floored when they fixed it
I didn't know that about Smith, very odd! Rick's 'Get Schwifty' taunt was also free when the character first launched and then they removed it and started charging players for it
Can I just point out how Velma's "Reading" taunt has a double meaning. Like yeah she's more interested in her studies could be the base concept, but the more interesting part of it is when the Velma player catches you doing something they expect you to do I.E they Read your moves
The banana guard mama said taunt is a reference to the end of the episode where Finn and Jake are tasked with finding a toad stool to sit on by the king of Oooo (season seven idk the name)
Agree with you with Reindog here. He does meh emotes. But I like his tail wag because how adorable he his with his tail + the fact that some dogs do the same thing as him. It is a great reference for a Original Character of you ask me.

I was under the impression characters were (for the time being) having maximum four emotes but with Shaggy just getting his fifth there’s definitely plenty of room for more sinister Jason taunts. It’s why I love his winning animation so much! The team really pushed what they could get away with regarding Jason!
With Morty's default, he always drinks orange juice after sex (it appears again in season 5, episode 3). If you look into it enough, this means that you metaphorically got f**ked by Morty.
Assuming Morty does sleep with Planetina, he never drinks orange juice in that episode. I think you might be referring to Season 5 Episode 4 (Rickdependence Spray) which he does indeed drink orange juice and this line of dialogue was even rerecorded by the new voice actor for this game ‘Morty you dirty little doggy’. However, I failed to mention it because my brain does its best to suppress that horrible episode from my memory hahaha. Absolutely love the metaphor you gave! HAHA that’s amazing
It's a shame this video came out when it did, since as of this week, Marvin and Gizmo got brand new taunts that let you actually play music, and Shaggy's Shirt Rip taunt got fixed to work with all his variants.

Character Representation: A Visual Appeal: A Distinctiveness: A Value: A (for PC players getting a subscription they don't care for just to get an emote would be a pain, but for someone like me who has gamepass this is just a free taunt) Overall: S Easily an S; this one nails Shaggy's character and is one of the most visually interesting taunts in the game by some margin. It may not be provocative but it makes up for it with wit and charm!

The portal is so unnecessary for the taunt. His losing animation should just be him leaving through a portal (similar to how Superman will fly away)
