My flex plate was cracked. Cost about 1500 had to pull the axles and drop the trans to replace it. $100 part. I also replaced all the rocker arms and valve pins myself along with 1 camshaft to deal with a rattle in top of the engine.
@@joshgriffin1266 the engine mounts were blown too and it had me feel like a parts swapper and I always directly see or know a fix before I go on anything but since the subframe had to be lowered for the rack I said mounts were a good idea

Yes absolutely, flex plate was completely broken. Noise was gone after replacement
What repair was needed for that rattle? Sounds exactly like mine
If it wasn't that my next guess was the pistons are changing holes
