I'd love to see Asmon do a hardcore character but he'd have to do it off stream with how many folks would grief him.
@@MilkshakeGuruTTV asmon is past the point of being able to enjoy games like this, he will have 50 ppl following him everywhere he goes, he will be killed by griefers every 10 minutes. He knows it would be unplayable and unwatchable. It wouldn’t even be a real hardcore experience

There are guilds on Bloodsail Buccaneers that make it their duty to hunt down and kill griefers. It was pretty impressive when a bunch of Horde rogues named some variation of Garrickpadfoot were found dead in Northshire.

15:01 This one is premeditated. This might be a multi-boxer. I think the player immediately fainted death to dump the threat onto the girl. That’s why she got flagged. The pet was set to Aggressive so it will attack the next target

Her name is shown in Blue, suddenly when the Nightelf there feigns dead the PvP flagged cat attacks her and her name turns Green. That is a stupid grief. Same faction. Wtf is wrong with people.

It's genuinely fucking stupid that hardcore servers are not separated from regular servers. It encourages griefing. It practically _begs_ for it to happen. Not to mention it makes it far less impressive to find a 60 while playing, because they might not even be a hardcore player who earned that arduous milestone.
Would it make the game more barren? Yeah. So what? It's WoW Classic, it's already barren. What's a few less people around going to matter?

All the first clip proves is that glad1 means F all. The clip at 15:57 is a clear instance of ToS violation and is bannable. They are exploiting to grief and working with opposite faction players to grief their own faction. If blizzard would actually do something about this, I would advise people to report that hunter and the horde player if they could be located, but I suspect nothing would even come of that.
I'm an avid gamer. Originally it was strictly historical war games, but I've branched out into various other genres, largely crafter/builder survival games. I've always had this strange interest in WoW as a complete outsider, with very little or any interest to play the game, but sort of an ethnographic fascination with the intricate foreign culture.

The hunter was fucking terrible. no pet taunts at all, and she could have gotten aggro on 1 more of them so the druid only had 2 on him.

Blizzard can't ban people for doing pvp in a game with pvp. The problem is that there's no hardcore servers. If someone gets their character deleted because of a addon it's not blizzards problem.

I want to play hardcore, however unless some sort of official server forcing it and not some addon I won't bother.
If so many are playing without nameplates, I imagine it might be an achievement or new trendy challenge.
Or nameplates just suck. Might benefit you, if your only concern is optimizing your run, but they look god-awful.
Most of the time when Asmond harps on a player not using nameplates it has zero to do with what's happening in the video, or why the player died.
None of these are on official hardcore servers.
I'm 100% not the type of person to play hardcore, like my style in MMO's is play super risky and if you die oh well. That attitude doesn't mix well with HC and I would hate having to play super slow and conservatively constantly with hundreds of hours wasted from a stupid mistake (often time other peoples mistakes). That being said if I was to play it would be hunter or rogue, and I would never play when I didn't have my FD or Vanish available. Like oh I guess this a good time to take a bio break!
