@@LoudWaffle That is the fun of hardcore. Taking risks and having fun. i've lost 3 champs one at 24, 38 and 45 and 2 of them were in a dungeon and i will still do a dungeon with a random group.

Win or lose, it's _stimulating_ ... and you know, you're not actually losing hours of gameplay. It's like saying I lost hours of gameplay playing Dark Souls after I stopped playing it; no, I've *gained* hours of enjoyment from both the losses and victories. Those characters are gone and the game is uninstalled, but I had a great time.
In the case of WoW vanilla, many people also genuinely enjoy the leveling.
So you have an experience of TREMENDOUS emotional engagement, with chill moments leveling and questing.
100% days, up to a full week at least

Kungen literally stopped a healing wave to jump twice and run around.
you dont know the context, his nature swiftness keybind was undone for whatever reason. so he stopped a heal so he could NS and get an instant heal off because the tank was getting chunked.
It was totally Kungens fault, you do not jump aroud when mobs are running towards your tank.

the hunter that died to the lava should have just canceled the slow fall effect in time, take some fall damage and be still alive

I died to the Tarren Mill guards also at 35... those damn guards travel so far out, they pretty much visit the southshore guards. Wave and turn around

The aggro on them is so weird. They aggro me while I was walking and they were running to their initial position (they finish to chase someone). They just pass next to me and start attacking me instead of running all the way back the the initial spot.
Best case scenario on the geddon kill, the melee staying in saves about 5 seconds on the kill. It was entirely pointless to risk all those deaths.
Parsebrain. I knew it will be the same shit on HC, people just refuse to play safe just to get a faster kill/clear time/parse, even if it means risking hundreds of hours.

I think I am going to create a character named Asmonroach that I will play and bail out at any inkling of a wipe, and another one named Asmonchad that I will stick with the group till the end.
You'd imagine that the RL should know the mechanics of easy bosses in a 20 year old game but apparently he forgot that after the third inferno, its a 1 shot even with a fire pot on. At least some of the melee showed critical thinking, probably thought "fck this guy, I'm out" and saved their characters.
They probably would've killed him in time if they had all listened to the RL and stayed in.
@@peterpattex5812 still a stupid as fuck call. Speaking from experience the first tic is like 25% then it ramps up to 80% the third tic is guranteed oneshot if you didn't die to the second.
Zero chance i'm listening to that call when the raid team can literally wait about 20 seconds total and save hundreds of hours of lvling. I learnt that one around AQ phase going back into MC for binding runs. I was rocking 240+ FR at that point and using consumes + hella geared.

Yup! I aggroed Morladim at low health and the only thing that saved me was having a swiftness pot. It is essential to carry as a warrior.

That scarlet monastery clip I felt that so hard, my very very first run of it back in burning crusade I was the healer, my tank aggroed the boss while we still had three of the mobs right in front of him that we were working on. There was 0 time to react before the tank dropped, then me, then the dps. From that day forward anytime I ran that dungeon I made CERTAIN the group cleared the sides first.

Kungen's bindings are all there though....If his bindings would of reset then all his shift bindings and so on would be gone too. He was literally jumping mid cast.

Hunter pet might have been underlevelled so larger pull radius. Good catch
The only problem I see with this is that from when the bird charges in and is the closest to the other pack and by the time we finally see pack running towards the group 10 sec have passes. Which means if we look at the time it takes for the pack to reach the players it looks to have taken around 7-8 sec after the bird charged in for them to be pulled. So if the bird was the culpit the pack should have already been running toward the players much earlier than when they did.
But what exactly pulled the other pack is a mystery for me.
That warlock barely made it because he had no clue what he was doing. That was pure luck.

Got the hillsbread gaurds two times and warr ans survived just put down a target dummy and use swift pots to run away. But tbh hillsbread is the place that gave me the most scare so far

He wanted NS bind not just normal heal, and it was fucked because of a dc or something. Its a valid enough excuse, the tank fucked up and might not have lived anyways with the amount of damage he took.

He jumped to cancel his cast so he can press Nature's swiftness to instantly cast the heal as it was an emergency. Don't know the situation but there has been times my binding and macros get reset to a previous save. It's happened to me but not in hc.
I’ve lost two characters in the lamest ways possible. First one got stuck on the staircase in Ambermill doing the rogue quest and second one was due to a tab out miss click leading to me falling to my death before I could tab back.

It’s not weird, his spell that would normally make his next big heal instant cast wasn’t bound to a key. This is a bug that happens after you disconnect sometimes. So he cancelled the first cast because he was worried without an instant big heal the tank could die. So he cancels and then is spamming the ability but its not bound. The more you know 😊

I died at level 11 to the burning blade cave in NE Durotar and I'm very glad that the absolute disgust I felt with my choice to play hardcore happened after 5 hours instead of 5 months.

He canceled it to use nature's switftness combined with a big heal, which was a good thing to do. The problem was his keybinds got messed up and NS didn't activate, which is why he wasn't able to heal at all. Don't talk shit if you don't know what's going on.
Actually, cancelling heal was correct decision, because tank was getting damage too fast and should've died before cast was finished. So, streamer cancelled casting with intention to pop Nature Swiftness and insta-cast big heal on dying tank. But for some reason, Nature Swiftness wasnt bound on panel (look at second from the right spell icon on the main bar). So this is healer and tank mutual fault: overconfident tank overpulled and got 100-0 health in like 2 seconds (and shaman's healing wave cast time is 2 secs with all talents iirc), and healer messed up his bindings before pull.

Mage is the only class I've mained. I know he got pushed off. In his defense if it was a jump, he would instantly die the moment he tries mass AOEing a bunch of monsters with little to no aggro from tank. They'd turn to him and 1 hit him all within one game tick. A better solution would have been to focus target the one the tank was on and just try to freeze others. If bailing, everyone jumps at the same time. This is why I don't play HC. I don't have time for their unorganized chaos.
Why the F is every dungeon pull aoe pull now, back in the days, we used to mark big packs and have rogue sap + mage sheep, cc as much as we could to kill mobs 1 at a time.

Its not so bad if you wait till level 40+. One of them was level 32 which is insane unless you are getting carried. Sub-40 bring a healer at least.
