Thanks for the clarification and update... Guys like us like to have choices of equipment when trying to solve a problem,... I really enjoy this channel it greatly amplifies my knowledge and often times challenges me to think... In various ways, for me I never know what little bit of knowledge I will gain that will assist me in the future. I also like having a resource to consult with if I have something I'm kind of unsure of to solve a problem, all three of you guys... Are Great Resources. I really enjoy the channel especially when you guys all get together, the atmosphere is a little different and we learn different approaches and experiences between you three. 🙂
Sounds very simple although I’m cautious you will get swamped with a few thousand names to write down and fold-up especially when the names are seemingly random jumbles of letters, numbers and characters from the extended set. If I were you I’d look at a service that picks a random comment, or a TH-cam plugin which supports prize draws, or you’ll most likely get overwhelmed. Just a thought .. good luck 😀👍
I'm sure it's great for its intended purpose. However, it appears to be only CAT II rated, so only for measuring at plugged in appliances some distance from your building distribution board or house consumer unit. Don't expect to be using this at your distribution board or the main supply coming into your property... that wouldn't comply with the requirements for CAT II.
This device has shown up on many electronics TH-camrs channel. It worked... I picked one up and it's a nice piece of equipment. Picked up a banana to BNE connector for more accurate Oscope readings.
Hey Richard, I do mostly deal with DC voltage in car amplifiers. This would be nice for mains units repairs, no use of isolation transformer. Thank you for your videos by the way

Looks nice. The sort of thing I could do with right now as the heater has just burned out in my old analog scope. Your time isn't good for me as I work weekends so I'm not available.. No worries.. will just have to get myself one of the cheap things Adrian Black has been showing off.
