- Air Europa Trip Report flying from Madrid to Milan onboard one of the Air Europa Boeing 737 equipped with the Sky Interior on a sunny winter afternoon.
The very first Trip Report on the channel recorded with my new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. I truly think that the quality has improved a lot thanks to it. Despite I still need to get used to it, on this first video I think we can see a big improvement in the image stability and, especially, the zoom capability. Waiting for your feedback!
The flight was very comfortable. Surprisingly full flight but comfortable onboard this Boeing 737 equipped with Sky Interior. I missed some kind of catering onboard, but it's understandable with the current situation. I especially enjoyed the approach next to the Alps.

La verdad es que estoy muy contento con esta cámara! Tengo algunos vuelos que grabar en unas semanas y ya serán grabados con esta cámara. Sin embargo, los vídeos de las próximas semanas aún estarán grabados en muchos casos con el antiguo S9+. Poco a poco, los vídeos del S21 Ultra irán ganando terreno. Calculo que a partir de Mayo-Junio todo estará ya grabado con éste último :)

La verdad es que este móvil me ha dejado impresionado. Y también me ha dejado claro que tengo que ir actualizándolo más frecuentemente. No puedo permanecer 3 años con un mismo dispositivo cuando le doy el uso que le doy.

Desde luego que voy a grabar siempre con éste! No obstante, hay una buena cantidad de vídeos ya grabados con el S9+ habitual que se irán subiendo te manera intercalada con los más nuevos. Calculo que para finales de Mayo todos los vídeos serán exclusivamente del S21 Ultra. :)

Sharp pics. Madrid seems busier than other airports. Or do they leave in waves, so it looks more busy. Zoom function amazing. During landing, with the sun, I thought I was looking at a Japanese anime. They use sunlit skies a lot and qualaty is breathtaking.

Iberia, as any other HUB airline (Lufthansa, KLM, AirFrance...) works in waves: incoming pax connect to an outbound flight, so if you fly during those waves, the airport is crowded. Outside those waves, the airport is almost empty at the moment =/

Bloody Hell that was amazing. A new dimension to your channel. One of the reasons I like your channel so much are the views of the countryside over which you are flying.. The light at the end of the tunnel is expanding quite quickly. Some sort of normality will soon be returning hopefully.

So glad I found your channel a few months ago. I'm from the USA but love the European Continent and can't wait to get back across the Atlantic. This video was unbelievably beautiful, well shot and edited. The 12:03 mark with plane coming out of the turn, showing engine and then the wing was stunning! The Alps on Zoom! Wow. Because your camera is so steady we can almost experience what you're feeling in the aircraft; the turns, and flying through the clouds on descent. I have an S10 but might exchange it for an S20 or Ultra. Will share to my Facebook page as myself and others are into aviation. ☆☆☆☆☆ gracias, grazie, thank you!

Creo que lo he dicho varias veces, no obstante lo repito sin problema, ese no es un contenido que tenga pensado grabar ni subir al canal. Cuando hago esto estoy haciendo mi trabajo y no pensando en grabar nada. Desde el principio he querido dejar bien separado eso del contenido de este canal.

Lo cierto es que el cambio de móvil fue forzado pues mi antiguo S9+ tuvo un accidente y quedó básicamente destruido. Tengo eso grabado en un trip report, lo subiré pronto! :))

One question: did you do the antigenic test at MAD before departure? Did someone check your test results in MXP after landing?

Actually, at the moment of recording this video, one of the 4 cameras was working bad, due to some kind of Samsung software issue, so I was partially limited on what I could record. Luckily, this week an updata came and it's working 100% now :)
About the MXP question, I didn't do any test in Madrid airport, but I had one PCR with less than 48h. I was asked for it upon arrival in MXP, before getting to the baggage area, yep.

@@OnBoardHD Well, luckily you got the update in time for other videos! Ok, so you did the PCR, even though in Italy the rapid antigenic was enough. I’m looking forward to flying to Spain again soon! But clinics doing PCR tests with results within 48h in English version are very few and very expensive in Italy (around 120€ each).
How much does it cost in Spain normally? Did you do the PCR in a clinic?
@@NikiSvaizer I did the PCR because my final destinations required it. I'm not sure if being a connecting pax I would need it in Italy, but yes, they've requested it.
I usually do it in Slovakia. Around 70-80 euro each.

La arquitectura arbórea de las T4 me recuerda a la Sagrada Familia en la que Gaudí ya empleó esas ramificaciones.
Fantásticas la imágenes del despegue de Madrid. Lastima de lo nublado sobre los Pirineos.
Gran imagen y estabilización del Galaxi, pero la experiencia tuya de mantener fijo el horizonte en los giros es sólo mérito tuyo.
Si no avisas de que estás empleando tanto zoom, parece que vuele entre las montañas 😀😀.

The quality of your videos, is now even better than before! The zoom in particular is amazing. That’s the 1st time I’ve seen a 737 with the Sky Interior with over head screens, they certainly seem a lot larger than on the older 737’s. Is Air Europa still part of the sky team alliance? I thought I heard they were leaving a while ago? ✈️

When I recorded this video there was a software issue with one of the 4 cameras of the phone, so I was limited on what I could record and what not. It was solved just a few days after with a software update. I'm really looking forward to record my next trip with its full potential! :D
Air Europa hasn't been bought by Iberia yet. They are part of Sky Team and, for now, they didn't say anything about joining One World, although I think it would be the normal step.

I recorded another flight with this camera (Milan to Vienna) and I really think it performs better as well. We'll see it soon! :)

Ostras, pues la verdad es que pensé que se iba a notar menos la diferencia, vaya pepino de cámara!! Me ha sorprendido sobre todo el zoom y el buen estabilizador que parece tener. Me alegra volver a ver un vídeo de Air Europa, solía volar siempre con ellos, pero desde que suprimieron el vuelo de las 6:30 en Coruña, me es imposible conectar con los vuelos a AMS 😢😢
A mi también me sorprendió! jaja La verdad es que está a otro nivel. Especialmente en zoom y estabilización. Y eso que en el momento en el que grabé este vídeo el software de la cámara tenía un par de errores (ya arreglados con una actualización).
Esperemos que pronto esos vuelos de primera hora de la mañana vuelvan a ser la tónica habitual! Será una señal de que empezamos a recuperarnos de verdad!

Your previus camera always gave me the feeling of been there with you: not anymore.That was unique to your channel. I miss your old camera already!
May I ask you what changed?
The only aspects that I've seen that changed from my perspective were that the image is a lot more stable and that the image quality is better, especially with zoom.
@@OnBoardHD Despite the much better zoom of the new camera, the colours of the old camera were way more natural, giving the feeling of been there. I notice this difference on picture quality because I see your channel with an 55 inch 4k OLED Sony TV.

To be honest, yours has been one of 2 comments who told me preferred the previous camera... that's whu I was so curious.
The colours of the new camera will be corrected in future videos. This was my first video with it and I didn't calibrate them perfectly.

A mí me parecerece que Air Europa ha disminuido su servicio constantemente. No sólo por la pandemia del Covid 19. Antes su servicio fue más o menos y en sus rutas a larga distancia fue mal. Muchas veces me rico uno de sus Airbus A330 en un estado fatal. Los siento estaban rotos o la pantalla no servía y no hablamos de la comida. Lo único bueno es su red de conexiones. Es la única aerolínea con una cuál se puede llegar de cualquier punto de Europa a Sudamérica entre 14 a 18/20 horas de viaje. Espero que se recuperen pronto o que se cumpla la centra definitiva a Iberia para implementar la aerolínea a Iberia. Sino paso a paso se convierte en un Lowcost carrier.
P.D. Gran trabajo! Espero que algún día hagas reportajes de vuelos a Sudamérica.
Eso había leído yo antes de la pandemia... Air Europa había bajado bastante su servicio en los vuelos de largo radio.. sin embargo, al no haberlo probado no puedo emitir una opinión al respecto. Espero poder hacer algún vuelo de largo radio este verano, y que se conviertan en la tónica habitual hacia final de 2021 y todo 2022 :)

Haha To be honest, for somebody that doesn't use the camera for working, the S21 is enough. Without having the channel, I would have the S21, not the Ultra. But it's up to you :)

Pues si bien es lo que parecería más razonable, hasta la fecha no tengo conocimiento de que se haya dicho nada al respecto. La opción de quedarse fuera de ninguna alianza y sólo hacer acuerdos puntuales de código compartido es otra opción. Vueling, por ejemplo, es de IAG y no está en ninguna alianza. Veremos! :)

Well, I think all B737 in the world have individual air vents. On some long-haul planes they are not, and I really don't know why =/
