Thank you all for watching. If you could do me a favour and hit Subscribe and turn on all Notifications, it will help me more than you know❤️ A bit under the weather these days. Since this is a very basic project , decided to make a tutorial without voiceover.. What do you think?
@@NotchesSewing I have no preference for simple projects like this one; the music is nice, though. Having said that, I would prefer voiceover for more difficult projects. Also, your voice is super pleasant and you explain the steps quite well, so it's an asset to the video. 🙂
I made this last night. I had to be scrappy by using a literal paper ruler and free hand cutting with office scissors because I don't have any tools. I was praying it would not look too bad, and it came out amazing. If I had not known the way the fabric was cut uneven in multiple ways, I wouldn't have guessed by the end product. I just got into sewing and this was my third project, after a head band and a small draw string bag. I definitely recommend this video for beginners. Thank you for taking the time to make this tutorial!
I loved seeing the tutorial straight forward without all the talking. I’m a visual person so seeing and then your added written comments were perfect!! Thank you just what I was looking for.
Thanks for the tutorial! I can't wait to try it as my first sewing project. I love that you really showed every single step with close ups and explained the how's or whys without making it sound complicated
I'd made my bestie a tote bag with this material some years ago now, though I'd made it differently. It did trip me out at first seeing it sewn wrong sides together, but that french seam blew my mind - loved it! Thanks for sharing 😁
I like all your tutorials your voice is calming and instructions not confusing. There's so many reasons why I start but never finish some tutorials from other TH-camr's. And person's voice and instructions is the main reason.
This is one of the most pleasurable tutorial I have ever seen on totes.....clean concise directions and beautiful product. I personally turn sound off. Thank you for sharing
Thank you for this quick tutorial. Although your instructions are clear, I still prefer to get voice instructions as there are additional information you provide while you show us instructions as you do it. For me it helps a more when I listen to instructions especially more intricate patterns but for quick and easy tutorials like this, no verbal instruction is also good. Hope you feel better soon. Looking forward to seeing and hearing you in future tutorials. Thank you for sharing your expertise with us who just started sewing.
Love this! Very simple and easy to follow! The music was nice! Turning the volume down and reading the captions is an easy fix for those who didn't like it 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️. I know this was 7 months ago but I do hope you're doing well❤💙
I always go back to this tutorial, the music always EATS!!!! Something about the track you chose always gets me to go back n rewatch this tutorial everytime I’m sewing a tote bag😂😂 it’s so good idk why!!!
I just completed my first ever sewing project! Thank you so much for the video, it was super easy to follow along and straight to the point, which I really appreciated
Thank you for this simple and easy-to-follow tutorial! I especially appreciate that I can clearly see each step of the process and not be distracted by the sounds of the machine or other background noises. I have made 2 of these for myself so far and I plan on making several more to gift to friends and family! :)
This was my first ever sewing project that I finished and OMG, you did a great job at teaching, because it's so beautiful!!!! Thank you so much for the boost of confidence!
Wow! Thank you. You make it so clear, easy and simple to follow. Loved everything from the beginning to end. I’m working on making a tote bag to place my kitchen towels to take to wash and this is perfect. I appreciate how well this video was made. Thank you.
Thank you so much Angela, I really really enjoyed watching you create this great tote bag. I’m so sorry you were under the weather when you made this. I hope you’re feeling better. I really really love your voice overs but, I enjoyed this too. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
This is awesome, I’m hoping to try this with a group. Can you also take a snapshot of all of the cuts of fabric you made to give a clear understanding of all the pieces involved in future? That would be a great addition! Thank you for the work it took sharing this, it looks so simple and nice!
What a superbly systematic and perfectly stitched tote bag !! I liked the fabric and its print too. I will follow your guidelines a stitch a similar tote soon!! Many hearty Thanks.
If you wanted to make a smaller gift bag instead of a tote would you just reduce the 3 measurements ( length, width and length of straps) proportionally?
I find the music not great. I much prefer your calm , clear voice and straightforward instructions. There’s a little too much background noise in the world, I find. But I do love the tote, and your great instructions on turning to get the best corners.
Love how easy this bag is to make. I will definitely try it. I’ve seen bags with French seams before but have never tried to make one. Hope you’re feeling better today.
Love the way the edges are finished, will definitely try this. No voice over is no problem at all, really enjoying your videos. Homemade Notions panties next on my list!
Love the simplicity of this bag. I have made many of these bags and for some reason I really enjoyed watching this. Very well done and the song was very pleasant. I hope you’re feeling better soon. ❤️

Lovely!
Also, good background music choice.
Get well soon.
Thank you! (still sniffling..) Do you prefer with just music. No voice over?
