I tryed it and loved it soooo much!! I altered it a little bit by shortening up the bag a bit my bag was 17” x 16.5” and I left the straps the same. Let me tell you it is the best bag I’ve ever made!!!

recently my favourite gingham pants got torn a bit round the knee area. i was really attached to it and was very sad when it got torn. so i decided to make use of it so i wouldn't have to throw it away. i thought of making a tote bag out of it and i found this lovely tutorial to do so. i don't really have a sewing machine around but my family thought of getting one recently so I'm saving this forlater. thank you plenty if time. this was very satisfying to watch.
Thank you so much!! I already made five of these in different shades. Peach , baby blue , rose gold , aqua and purple. I sold the purple one (the purple had the bts one on it) about on a price of 30 or 40$. And I made a lot of money in 1 day!!
I did this and it turned out great! The only problem is that was a bit too long, I had to cut about 5 cm from the bottom and sew the seams again, but it looks great, my sister asked me where I bought it haha
