    I regularly traverse us97 through Oregon. I love these old towns.

    That church is lovely! Took many photos when I passed through. Didn't see the school, will check it out next time.

    I just took another picture of this old church a week ago when I went through grass Valley I didn’t not realize they were train depots in all theses towns first I have seen the school also

      The school is only a short walk up the hill from the church - I highly recommended taking some pictures of it. Most of the train tracks are gone now, but they kept the towns alive while they were operational.

    Hello sad to see the Church abandoned churches in the early days were so important to communities not only as a house of worship but social gatherings as well sad to see a house of GOD forgotten 🇺🇸🤔

      This particular one has just deteriorated over time. It's clear from older pictures that it used to be more intact and now the roof and floors are falling apart 😭
