- Setting the Temporary Personal Mooring is easy and takes just a few minutes. We use ours for our 7m Hartley Cruiser, as well as our 16' Quintrex . Available online only at
boatretrieves.c...
includes:-
100m x 10mm silver staple rope
Stainless-steel components
Hand spliced and finished
I agree with Fit Outpost, it's nice to see how it works...but it would be much better to have shown the way it is setup. What's on the line, the pulleys, connector to the float, what the boat is connected to & how, & basically how the mechanism works.
I've thought about this for beach-hopping, very interesting to see somebody actually do it! I thought you could use your existing anchor line, by clipping a pulley with a carabiner on it to the end of your acnchor chain, then passing the regular old anchor rope through the pulley, and the same with your spare anchor on land (though it means you can't have a spliced eye, so less faith in the the line staying attached to the chain in rougher seas..)
In the end i thought a paddle board might be easier haha
