- IELTS speaking test with a band score 6.5
There are specific criteria used to calculate the IELTS speaking test scores. It is expected that you meet these criteria when you speak. Those criteria are Pronunciation, accuracy, and coherence, as well as lexical resources and Grammar.
Each of these factors determines how well you score on the speaking section of the IELTS. Each criterion is scored separately and then the total is divided by four.

I’d like to clarify if answers are short in speaking part will it reduce the band?
Normally we need to answer part 1 shortly but aim to the main point that the examiner asks and the part2,3 we need to answer it longer than part 1. If it is short the examiner can not have enough data to give you scores

There is no word that is at band 9, if u use them wisely, u can get even 8 or 9 in your real exam.
