It should be 222mA not 555mA

Hi robert this current sense core , kool mu or normal high perm core ?

      Hi Vtech,
I use ferrite cores to implement a current transformer with one turn on the current sense and the secondary 50 to 100 turns. I hope this helps.

Hi Robert, great video. I would like to ask how do you select the current transformer primary inductance we see at 20.00m. I mean if I change that value from 1n to 1m (including your 1u) sometimes the current is not sensed properly. Is there a specific criteria to select it? Thanks a lot.

Hi Robert, I want to create a transformer with one primary winding and four secondary windings. Does Topspice has similar capability like Simetrix to build a magnetic model ? Or do I have to create inductance for each winding and add coupling ratio

Hi Thanh, I am not familiar with Simetrix, but if you want to build a 5 winding transformer, you would place 5 inductors as L1, L2, L3, L4, and L5. L1 would be your primary while L2 to L5 would be you secondary winding. You would then have to specify the specific inductance to all 5 inductors. To make them coupled, you then have to place the K spice directive by pressing [Insert] and then press [k]. K is the coupling coefficient. It spice directive would look like thisn K L1 L2 L3 L4 L5 0.9998. The would tell spice that all 5 inductors are coupled. I hope this makes sense. Robert
