I worked as a lube tech at a Ford stealership when I graduated from college with a 2 year degree in automotive mechanics. These hit the lots that same year I was working there and they were basically an appearance package and a slit bump in ppwer. The owner of the lot took one and had me and one of the other mechanics put a Paxton supercharger on one and he took it and raced his buddies around for a few months and then had us take the supercharger off and they sold it as a new car on the lot. Stuff like that is why I don't like dealerships.

I miss listening to the sound of that engine when my dad had his 08-09 Bullet Mustang up and running till something crapped out on the engine (we assume it's the timing). Now, it just sits in the driveway for 2 years.
I have a feeling that I'll burn at the stake, but I am considering buying a Mustang with Ecoboost instead of MX-5 ND RF. But cannot decide. Why not V8? Sadly, there are no salvaged ones in Sweden in that price range, and the yearly taxes and insurance is at least double in comparison to 2.3L :| Even looked at 2012 V8, but the interior was decomposing as fast as NA Miata xD (Mustang was imported from Dubai, and it would seem that the glue didn't like desert heat).
This generation mustang was the perfect blend of having the old school look and feel in a modern package

They usually sell them as demo cars up to certain milage but they normally leave anything factory Ford part on the vehicle !

Get an ecoboost, you'll like it. I have one and it's a great car
The EcoBoost is badass. No shame there. (The ND RF is also a really cool car, you're not gonna regret either choice!)
