Ohio River fishing (one of the hardest fighting fish) Hybrids

Decided to go fishing this morning after a storm brought a cold front in the night before. I was thinking I wasn’t going to get much but they was really active. Never caught so many fish throwing a lure. Most definitely the best day of my life so far. Meet some older guys and they had some stories of fishing that exact dam. Hate I had to leave when fish is biting and people to enjoy it with

I love when them fishes come in and love how the other guys hollering when you was catching. Over where I’m at. If guys see you catching. They will try to get right up on you.

I like my space. We have some guys like that at certain places. I’ll just leave. These these guys was older and we had a casting pattern so we wouldn’t have issues.

Your Fluke did a good job of staying on but if they get loose on the hook and won't stay put on the cast a drop of super glue on the hook will give you some more mileage on your Flukes. You have good technique. Thanks for taking me fishing.

Not sure how long you were out. But you had a killer day of catching fish. Great location. Good on you for killing that carp they are an issue.

Dude that’s some great fishin right there!!!
Just a tip for your flukes since it’s hard to find the white and chartreuse tip. You can always get the all white ones and get the garlic dip for it and it’ll stain the tail for ya just like the ones you used. Hope this helps 🦾🦾 tight lines

I think it’s 6 and has to be 14in. I have ate it twice last year for the first time. Didn’t know they were that good

I went over there yesterday morning and it had US Government Private Property signs etc. Were those there 4 months ago?

Yes. Been there for 2 years since the drowning. If the water low. You can walk along the shore line. Your not allowed on the wall especially at the end. People do it anyways cause they don’t care. Don’t be one of them please. It’s a good fishing spot and I feel like if something else happens like a injury or death again. They gone shut the area down completely
