One of the shops by me likes to have everyone run Rainbow Luffy for pre-release so it’s more fair and it’s honestly my favorite way to play these. The leader locked cards actually work and it adds a whole new dimension to deck building.
It's also interesting to note that the extra cards you pull from packs can be used as a side board between games. Normally you aren't allowed to change a deck once a tournament begins, sealed events are the exception to this. If you don't think the deck is working as well or you see value in a card now when you didn't before, you can change it out between games. I believe this doesn't allow you to change out leaders though.
I'm excited for the prerelease. However my locals are doing 2 events at 64 people max but only have enough product to sell boxes to top 32 of each event. I don't do well in prereleases so I don't think I'll be able to get any boxes from them. I just checked and its at 52 each event.
Zoro can be good if you get alot of of low cost high power characters, especially if you get alot of characters with 4k power since zoro can get them all up to 5k with leader ability. But usually if you don't get many 4ks or characters that really benefit from the 1k boost Kid is probably better in most scenario. I didn't have Kid yet for the op06 pre-release cause I didn't know how good he was for pre-release so I ended up running zoro and getting destroyed by most Kid players. And I won EVERY zoro mirror match so I know I pulled good and played okay. Luckily this time I have Kid and yamato in my pre-release leader box so I have an optimal leader for for any pulls I get, you can even switch leaders between each match if you want so it's definitely worth bringing Kid, zoro, double attack yamato, and katakuri to every pre-release if you have them all IMO. But Kid is most likely the best option.
You better take back saying Vegapunk is bad. He is the most fun yellow leader we’ve ever seen. Make a video and watch yourself beat everyone. I have faith
bringing any leader is the one thing i dislike for OP prerelease, leader ability/flexibility is so critical when your card pool is varied in cohesion so some leaders clearly have advantage in sealed
I feel like she is a "worse" ST02 Kid. Because if you don´t have removal which is very likely in sealed a single low cost blocker can stop her easily. Also she has 4 life which is always a bit weaker than a 5 life leader like kid.
The change in rule only affects deck construction limitations based on color. "All other card text restrictions still apply as normal, including effects listed on leaders when specifying names or colours of cards."
It will be my first pre realease. Im so hyped. Thx for the help
x2
Good luck at the event! Hope you get some sick pulls
@@flickmer thx man will give feedback in 2 weeks
Good luck my friend, don't forget to bring your kid or you are Cocked.
@@LacrauDemon5729 i honestly dont have him. I try to pull Bonny or use Zoro or Kata

In our store here in PH . We use Rainbow Luffy Leader. Just to satisfy the colors and to be equal with others
I love pre releases but the Bandai app is crap and gets worse every set. Love you videos, keep it up.
I went to my first locals last week and holy shit the app is so unintuitive
Can confirm. Bonney is the GOAT. Went against 3 kids and just continuously left them with no attackers.

You're going to kill it in this event. Top 8 at least!
So wholesome!! I love you all.
I'm playing bag of punk for my last release I keep getting like 13 or 14 of them I'm just curious how it's going to go
appreciate you doing a vid like this. I plan to win with your help!
Is there a good reason to use zoro or should i go in expecting to use kid?
Zoro works with green Hawkins.

Which leader are you using?
Thoughts about Yamato leader?
Too many blockers this set
@@cardkaizokuespecially in green
How long do pre release events take to run?
Depends on the store. Some like to be punctual, some let rounds go on way too long
We still done even have EB01 in the UK. For us we are still on OP06 and the game has gotta so stale...
that intro!
I've had mangas pulled by the person beside me at two different pre releases happy for them but it gutted me 🤣😭
Villain origin stories
Op06 prerelease I was tryharding with green kid. Spent 45 min drafting deck. Round 1 went against a Yamato and lost in 3 minutes…😢
If I don't win can I unsubscribe ?
How good is GY Yamato as a leader in sealed?

I believe based on the sealed rules you can use porche and cheat out any color character but idk if you’d be called on it lol

Im attending 5 events in Budapest
Bonney kid main 2 for the event I got my winner playing them 1 more pre release left
Or red purple law and I won't use his effect as much but just to get out like big four drop bodies and a get rid of blockers
Kid came 1st 2nd and 3rd at our event bonny 4th 5th
Be on the lookout for cheaters who bring cards in some guy had 25 blockers which im pretty sure is impossible to pull from 6 packs
you know what's crazy? you need to pull decent cards in order to win pre release. Lol. And by good I mean more than 10 playable ones.
Winner card is *another* kid card? 🤯
Pretty sure it is quantity restricted.
Idk why but pre release cards are crappy commons why can't they be rares or even sr
due to the rulings of prerelease i believe you cannot take a bonney you pulled from one event and use it at another
edit: Bonney Leader Card
Leader cards are an exception to that rule because they have a bring your own leader rule so since you own that leader it's allowed
Bandai absolute trash
