The whole album is a re-recording of their earlier 2000s songs.
This song in particular came out in 2010. The whole thing was crowdfunded and all the names in the end are those people.
Yeah and Ryo joined in 2012, so it's really cool to hear all those old songs with Ryo as the vocalist.

Crystal Lake actually aren’t a Christian band. They have a history of songs praising satan, but regardless I love this band!
To be fair, Satan as a concept in Japan is FOR SURE not the same as it is in western culture. Good and Evil without any gray area isn't really a thing there as much (and most eastern religions for that matter).
Yup, they're not Christian. Just tries to relay good message through their songs.

I feel you on this Gibby! As a fellow christian, this song resonates in me athough it's not intended to be religious.
God works in mysterious ways and will speak to us in so many different mediums while they aren't cristian whose to say he isn't trying to speak to you or me or anyone else through this song.

Japan is one of those countries where people would say they're religiously unaffiliated, while at the same time visiting a Buddhist temple or Shinto shrine at the beginning of the year to pray for a good upcoming year. Which is a tradition called Hatsumoude. So while Ryo and the band might be Christian, they may also say they're Secular or Agnostic.
