Sir..tell max...I'm soooo jelly...and the peanut butter is so thick.. Been hunting creeks for 20 years and my son has been able to go a few times and has yet to find one lol at age 28.. I love the fact that you still show the land and everything cause that helps when we can't get out and I love that thank you sir
Wow man this has to be 1 of the best artifact videos I've ever seen. The reunion of the broken point then the 3/4 Groove axe then Celt or whatever it is that your boy found blows my mind. Good job guys good bless yall
That's awesome that he found the other half to that point! I've found a few like that, but only twice in 45 years! Glue that baby together! Looks great! Very cool small axe and celt!!!
It is so cool when you find two separate pieces over a long period of time. Awesome finds, the thing at 4:51 diffidently looks like a point, though the materials looks uncommon, maybe like a rhyolite or a felsite like material and I think the build up is actually the original outside and the material it is made up isn't the best choice to use to make a point and it is just eroding away. Killer finds!
Salut! Good times all around! It is good to see all generations enjoying the hobby together. In regards to the artifact with the c Andy shell coating; I have seen other artifacts in the same condition, but those were pestles and axes.... I was not able to handle them but they appeared to be hematite or a variety of hardstone with a high iron composition, they too had lost patches of their surfaces, and were found in moist environs. Anyways, awesome artifacts.... way to keep the boy interested, it is small things like these that bond a family for all life. Cheers and Blessings!
Me and my wife has done that three times over 30 years we keep our broke points in bags from the same fields and from time to time we will look and see if we have any matches and sometimes we do great video guys
@@TreyPerry that’s funny , but if y’all started keeping all your good broken points together from where y’all find them in a box you would be surprised how many you can match one day
This happened with my son and I, years apart. It is a special occurrence I believe.nice to find the other halfer. Nice share yall, good to see y'all, been a minute😁. Axes n celts and such thanks for sharin👍.
Loved that reunion in the beginning, glad to see the latest of your family efforts, huge congrats on that axe/celt from the same field, you taught your sons well😎😎😎
Wow great finds guy. New subscriber You just made me want to get out in the Michigan cold. 🥶 it's 49°f today (now) but getting late in the day. Good luck gentlemen 😊😎
I have done it twice. Found one half and walked about 20 feet and found the other. Didn’t know until I got home and cleaned them up that they fit. I also found one while hunting a dirt road and found all three pieces about 100 yards apart in the middle of the road. Base, middle and tip.
That’s awesome! I’ve only ever heard stories of people finding both halves, so cool to see it come together in person! To find all three pieces is incredible!
Never been to Nebo, but I noticed it’s pretty close to Hardin, which I’ve crossed the bridge there to get to pike county. My dad has a couple spots around there, so I’m sure you can find some too! Just walk those creeks!
To me that looks like an arrowhead. but it looks like the outside of it is eroding away. I'm not sure though, because I've never seen anything like that happen before.
For starters we don’t even post any “no trespassing “ signs…now our ground does get leased to deer hunters and duck hunters. But am pretty sure they have never had anyone arrested either.. if they post a sign and I see it, it gets taken down..no purple on our trees either..
@@lynnieperry5886 I heard years back Dwayne Davis saw you in one of your fields and Carla the Game Warden came and put you in jail for being on your family property, and then tried like hell not to dismiss the ticket. That's just what I remember hearing several years back.
Love it-WOW what a difference a few miles makes… we are Champaign County.
you and pop are soo much fun to watch
Killer axe

That 3/4 grove is a dandy
The celt too👊
Thank you!! They’re both so miniature, makes me like em even more!
Nice axe! Awesome celt! Yall should dig that spot. I'm sure there is more.

Just seen your video , fantastic finds, a three quarter axe and a celt in beautiful shape .Well done Gentleman. Best of luck with future hunts.

Thank you for the kind comment, I love seeing him get more and more interested! He’s catching up to me on my collection! Cheers and good luck to you!
I’d call that one an arrowhead for sure. It looks like a Peisker Diamond point. The rest of them were awesome too. I really like that axe.
Thank you! The axe is my favorite too, just fits perfect in the hand!
Great stuff there guys! Love both those killer hard stone pieces. That little Axe is exceptional though! What a cool find! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching! Good luck to you!
Thank you!

That’s awesome! It was a first for us, as most of our brokers end up separated from house to house and all over the place lol.

Why thank you! It’s hard to make a good video cause I rarely get to hunt anymore, but planning on going this weekend, so hope to get a good one!
@@TreyPerry good luck to ya, was good to see ya all. Been a while. Blessins n thanks ,tty

Thank you! He puts us right on em!
Awesome saves!!! Love the axe and celt! Very awesome!
I hunted in South Jersey 1969 through 1990 never had two pieces go together, that's great luck !!!
Thank you! Never would have known unless Bo remembered his piece in that field from over a year ago
Wow great finds guy. New subscriber

Hope you found something!
That axe is very nice!
Love the videos. 🙌🏼
New subscriber here. Awesome finds good luck and God bless
I've never found both pieces of an arrowhead either. This is the first one I have seen.
GOOD FINDS
That is a battle club stone !!!
Love the axe. Lasalle county.

@@TreyPerry I know the three piece one was milky quartz and I glued all the back together. It was a side notch point about 3 inches long
What would happen if you put the wrong side felt on your pool table
What area do you hunt? I'm in Woodford county Illinois and been finding some decent Artifacts lately.
Mostly Schuyler county and Cass county! Been to Morgan county and Fulton county a couple times, but stay mainly around where I grew up
i will be coming to nebo illinois in october. going to a resort. is this around you guys? Any good creeking in that area? Only be there for 2 days

Cool
What was that in the ground next to the axe?????
I figured someone would say something haha, it’s a nice piece of grey flint we find around here a lot, but it was just a flake!
To me that looks like an arrowhead. but it looks like the outside of it is eroding away. I'm not sure though, because I've never seen anything like that happen before.
Celt has some damage on the back end
Oooohhh
You find a hunting arrow head on a very old deer 🦌 trail
Is there a a name for that, welcome to the 2 shall be back as one club
Spear points
And maybe adladal points to for big game.
rocks found an arrow head half and found the other half later
It's to bad it's still broke
Trey, ask your dad how many people have been charged with trespassing on the family property.
Zero

Having said all that it is planting season for us.. please don’t run your four wheeler through our fields ;)
There is plenty of room to drive around the outside edge

Laters
That is rare
Those are not bird points, they are true arrowheads for war.
Nice finds, love the hardstone stuff - we don't get much of that here in NE Texas. Just subbed -
Good channel, check mine out when you get the chance.
Subbed as well, and we love the hard stone here!
@@TreyPerry Awesome, and thanks!
Illinois,,Indiana and Ohio are littered,,forever littered
