Thanks man, I really appreciate the compliment! I try to keep it as straight forward as possible on here, and keep the focus entirely on the artifacts! I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment with such uplifting words!
It was a strange looking piece for sure! I often wondered if they worked around material colors when making these pieces to get the desired look? Or if the color of the artifact just happened how it happened?!
@@Points365 it's no doubt to me that they purposely made their tools aesthetically pleasing, just like our tackle boxes, pocket knives, gun collections, whatever tool they had they must have cherished. I love how you take time to show the artifact. Every angle counts! Nice job!
.Wow, beautiful artifacts. 20:23 my favourite. Great editing and music my friend. It's amazing how you can find arrowheads in unexpected places. I played baseball for a long time and in the fields where we played I found several points, surely it was a hunting ground in other times. A channel earned Points 365. Blessings.
Thanks again and as always! That is so neat that you would find artifacts out in the ball field! I bet when you were in the outfield waiting for fly balls, they were always yelling at you to stop looking at the ground!😂
Thanks buddy, I appreciate you coming back to check out the new finds! You know if I find something odd or neat, new or old, it’s gotta make the video! Happy Easter to you as well.
Thanks man! I almost find as many old coins artifact hunting as I do metal detecting! Haha I’ve tried combining the 2 hobbies… swinging my detector as I look for artifacts. It’s a little too much at once for me! I just stick with 1 hobby at a time now. Haha thanks as always buddy!
This in my opinion is your best show to date. You have it all, awesome points, beautiful heartbreakers, great bottle and old coin. Sometimes I think we are time travelers. Best artifact show on the tube.
Way to go Brother this one had it all great music great points.....love the bottle and mercury head Dime thanks for sharing you never cease to amaze me Awesome video
Thanks again buddy! You know if I find something odd or neat, new or old, it’s gotta make the video! I do enjoy finding more modern artifacts like bottles, bullets, and coins. I once found a stihl ms880 magnum chainsaw buried in the mud that had been underwater for quite some time. The magnesium body had already started pitting. I took her home, pulled it all apart, cleaned it thoroughly. Now I have myself a great running $1600 chainsaw! That was before I recorded my finds. That would’ve made for a great video! Haha
Yes sir finding a chainsaw would be awesome I'm getting up tomorrow morning when it finishes raining I'm going looking Happy Easter and I can't wait for the next video
Whoa , as always brother , impressive group of finds ! All of them down to the merc. Dime . And wow the dueling colors on that one ! Wow , and the last one very cool , almost a Decatur style point . Thanks for sharing
Thanks man! Since I go the no talking route, I try and make sure the artifacts do all the talking for themselves. Which means every angle, every side, just like I’m sure you and everyone else does when they admire them! Thanks again and I appreciate the comment!
So beautiful! But the big chopper and point found together was just to cool! I love the old bottle and the lovely dime. Wonderful video such a pleasure to watch. Happy hunting.
Good grief! I think I shed a couple tears for the Stillwell and serrated point! Ouch! Makes you appreciate the whole ones just that much more though. Killer Buck Creek though!! Great finds as always and thanks for sharing. Best of luck out there.
Killer pieces brother. In your area those big bad pine trees are hard to find complete those were close🧐Those were giants for sure. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍💤
Thanks again man! I hear ya though.. the nice ones like pines and lost lakes, with their fancy base, ears, and serrations are almost ALWAYS broken somewhere. I bet I have 3 or more frames of just broken pines like you mentioned! Thanks for checking it out buddy!
Amazing again!!! You have the touch! I mean finding the best points and who just walks over and pulls out a beautiful silver dime out of the high bank!! I mean.. Dang !!! You should play the power ball every week cuz you will hit it!!!! Love the cortex on that point..
Haha oh man that’s too funny! Sure enough.. every time I take someone with me, neither one of us wind up finding anything! I appreciate you always taking the time to watch and comment buddy!
Sometimes I wonder if they intentionally worked around colors in the material to get the look they wanted? Or if working the material, it just happens how it happens? Either way, it is a unique and interesting looking piece! Thanks for checking it out!
I appreciate it buddy! I agree though, I always like the pieces that seems like they were made with a little extra pizzaz, like the 2 toned pieces. You know the guy that made it, surely did that on purpose! Hah
Yeah no doubt! That lost lake that was stuck in that dry dirt.. I just knew for sure it was whole after that big chunk of dirt started lifting up. I couldn’t help but to drop my hand in disbelief! Haha Going back and seeing that honest reaction I had made me laugh, I just had to add that clip to the video! Thanks for checking it out!
Agreed! Some of them, like the last one for sure, was made by a true craftsman / artist! I appreciate you coming back to check out the new round of finds!
It doesn't get much better than that round of amazing artifact recoveries! That Stilwell and Dove were some serious heartbreakers though 😢 I felt your pain! Looking forward to your next video
Thanks as always buddy! But you know how it goes.. if it weren’t for the nonstop broken pieces, we probably wouldn’t appreciate the whole ones we find as much as we do! This past week I committed to recording what a normal hunting day was like for me, since I get people wondering how many broken pieces I find. I recorded every piece I found, broke or not. This video might wind up being an hour long because I wound up finding 32 brokes, 6 complete, and 1 coin. I’m pretty sure my laptop is going to start smoking when I try to upload a video that long!😂
Thanks man! I was on the edge of my seat with that last one. I didn’t even have my phone on me when I found it, that how unexpected I was to find one there. I had to make the almost 1/2 mile hike back to the car to get it, then come back! You know I was worried someone would find it while I was gone! Haha
I had a very unusual arrow head find in Pennsylvania at a camp site. We placed a water cooler that had a dripping spout on a picnic bench at the camp site. The drip opened up the ground below. In that opening we found a black chert 2 inch adena point that was in perfect condition. Upon research we learned that the entire area had been under water 250 yrs ago. Cool find, great projectile point!
Killer video brother, that first two face blade, is definitely one of a kind. That last one looked mean, is that an Eva or something else. Congrats on all of them and good luck out there.
The workmanship on that last one is tops. I'm wondering if that's a St. Charles with the evenly spaced bold percussion flake scars and finely pressure flaked edge and serrations. I guess it's just speculation without the base. Awesome find all the same!
I hear ya man.. that missing base has all the answers! I could definitely see it being a dovetail with the way it’s made. Good call on that! Thanks for checking it out and for the input!
Another great video my friend. We always love the variety you find. Love that Mercury Dime and old bottle. That last point in the video was a Hoss! What are you typing that one on the type?
Thanks man! I hear you though.. it’s interesting to see what all will turn up when you’re out there looking. I always keep my eyes open for anything out of the ordinary, and not just for native artifacts. When the artifact hunting slows down, I bust out the ol metal detector and go at it. I feel like I’m always searching for something one way or another! Haha
Knowing where it was found, someone probably stepped on it! That thing was laying there I’d say 6’ from a major campsite. I’ve always got one eye fixed toward the ground looking for an artifact.. but sometimes it’s just out of habit. I don’t really expect to find anything. This was one of those instances! You just never know where they’ll appear!
You know how it goes… that’s the name of the game! I recently took the time to record for an entire day of my hunting, thinking I’d do a video on what an average day of hunting was like for me… it wound up being an above average day. 6 whole pieces, 1 coin, and I believe 38 brokes. I do believe that video will wind up being an hour long!😂 It’s got me rethinking if I should even go through with that video idea, showing every broke and whatnot. I’m pretty sure my router will start smoking if I try and upload a video that long! Haha
And once again... You suck! 😉 Nice finds. I know you don't narrate, but you didn't have to use your voice to show your emotion on that one at about 18:00. The way your hand just dropped to the ground was enough. Believe me... I was routing for ya, too! Thanks for posting. Be careful out there.
Haha I appreciate the back handed compliment!😂 Oh man, I hear ya though… I almost didn’t add that broken lost lake to the video. But after seeing my honest reaction to it being broke, I couldn’t help but to laugh at myself! I just had to add it to the vid! Thanks again buddy, I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment!
Haha.. never fails.. just about every time I take someone with me, it winds up being the slowest day ever! I always hate that, because peoples hopes are always super high when they go with me!
As usual cool finds. I’m wondering are you walking the same hot spots over and over or do you go over new ground often? And also your commentary is stellar. Thanks.
Thanks man! I definitely regularly visit hotspots, but I’d say I traverse new ground on a regular basis. I will walk a stretch that I’ve previously walked and not found a single thing… not even a hint of inhabitance. A year later I’ll walk it again and all of a sudden I’ll find the most impressive pine tree I’ve ever found! I’m a big fan of going where nobody else goes, and let the mobs that hunt go to the hotspots, tripping all over each other. In the end I feel like it works out better for me. And you’re welcome for my stellar commentary.. I guess I should probably turn on the closed captions option for my videos. Haha thanks again buddy!
Awesome again ! Did you ever hear of the vegetarian indians well it's true they lived right here in northeast Ohio, I find all kinds of there artifacts for 4 years and not one point.......😂
Yeah for sure! If the broken piece is impressive, I’ll share it. But for the most part my brokes are unrecognizable and plentiful! Haha thanks again buddy and take care!

Yes! Can't wait to watch this video, only one minute in and that bi-colored point is a stunner!
